You will be picked up from Rishikesh to proceed to the Haridwar hotel. Haridwar is the place where you begin your journey of this pilgrimage. Haridwar is known as the gateway for this holy Char Dham Yatra. At Haridwar, you will check-in to the hotel and take rest if you wish.
Or you can go to the Ganga Arti in the evening, and thus begin the holy journey. Take a dip in the holy Ganga River and then be a part of the Yagya. Come back to the hotel at night to relish a delicious dinner and then take rest to get ready for the next day's rituals.

The journey from Kedarnath to Badrinath is a long journey of about 7 to 8 hours. After the breakfast head to Badrinath via the Joshimath. And on the way visit the temple of Narasimha. Reach Badrinath in the evening and take darshan at the temple. Early morning the next day, take a dip in the Tapt Kund, and the Charan Paduka darshan. Take the view of the Vishnu Prayag, Nandprayag and the Karnaprayag while returning to the Rudraprayag.
