This quiet abode is surrounded by the dropping pines, deodars, rhododendrons and many other conifers that can be seen in this area, which brands Chopta opulent in flora and fauna. Chopta, very modestly put, is a heaven for both trekker and explorer heaven. If you like to push your limits high then, Chopta is the place for getting a life-changing experience and expanding the boundaries of the physical horizons.

Chopta is perhaps the only vale urban in Uttarakhand, that has a slight human shift, and a decent domicile for intermediary explorers to brush up their expertise while traveling in the vicinity of distinguished tourist spots, like the Tungnath Temple and the Deoria Tal, which are both accessible subsequently after a sound directed trek. Speaking about the occasional prospects that Chopta bids, what cannot be overlooked is the famous Kanchula Korak Musk Deer Sanctuary, which entices flora and fauna fanatics who are into discovering unusual Himalayan instinctive species. Chopta grades on fondly, in the middle of mountainous and green paddocks, and in this gorge of abstract but out-and-out natural beauty, one makes sure of actually standing at any top of hill and spin round as a run through of catching a glimpse of the host of peaks evident. Plan a trip to Chopta from Delhi with your adventure enthusiast’s friends.

Balyugeshtj's 3 days trip to Uttarakhand

I booked my Uttrakand trip with PC Tour And travels, it was fantastic and memorable. Shivam Tripathi from PC tour and travels made sure my trip is comfortable and joyful, I never had to ask for anything in the hotel rooms or for any site visits, everything was taken care of before I could ask. Faizii ( local co-ordinators in Uttarakand ) were very polite and just a call away to answer your queries and make sure your day is well spent. I will strongly recommend PC Tour And travels for my friends and family for their upcoming trips.

Time planning is not good. not aware of the road conditions. major road work is in progress. due to same actual time required 14 hours to reach from mussoorie to joshimath against 10 hours to 11 hours. same for joshimath to chopta required 8 to 9 hours against 5 to 6 hrs claimed by operator. chopta - rishikesh - dehardun estimated as per operator was 6 - 7hours. but due to past experience we leave chopt one day early and required 6.30 hour to reach half distance(srinagar). and next day requires 9 hours to reach dehradun total 15 hours which we would have miss flight if iterary was followed. (original - Day 6 - Chopta - Rishikesh - Dehradun (204 km/06-07hrs Approx) Morning after breakfast, Check out From Camp and then we will Process to Dehradun Via Deoprayag. On route Visit MAA DHARI DEVI TEMPLE A manifestation of Goddess Kali, Dhari Devi is reckoned to be the protector of the Char Dhams. Since a long time now this temple has been a center of faith for the people of Garhwal. According to the legend, Dhari Devi is the guardian deity of Uttarakhand, whose idol was removed from her temple on 16th June 2013 by priests and locals, just a few hours before the cloudburst. And then We will Process to Deoprayag and visit DEOPRAYAG SANGAM The confluence of the rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda to form “The Ganga” and then Process to Dehradun, for Drop, Dropping Dehradun Service end here ) If we have followed same and leave chopta at 8.30 (as it was not possible due to climate conditions like fog, snow & ice on road ) we wold have reach airport after 10 pm. and flight time was at 8.30 pm
