The minute you step out of the railway station/ airport your trip begins! Your pickup from the station/ airport will be at 8 a.m. and then you will head towards your hotel in Coorg. Meanwhile, the first stoppage in your way will be Abbey Falls. The water cascading down from the cliff provides a spectacular scene to behold, typical to the splendid sceneries of the Western Ghats. The lush green backdrop with the water streaming through gives a perfect view to capture. The walk to the falls is around 200 steps downwards and gets you through the exotic coffee, cardamom, pepper, and other spice plantations.

Next awaits you the Raja’s Seat which is a seasonal flower garden with artificial fountains. You will get to enjoy its Musical fountains in the evenings after 7 pm. It offers a spectacular view of the sunset.

Get set for a remarkable day of sightseeing

After your delicious breakfast follows your cue to the day 2. Get yourselves in the right pace and dig into the spiritual phase for a while! Heading towards Talakaveri, which is the source and origin of river Kaveri & Madikeri Sightseeing. A lot can be explored over a casual drive alongside the city.

Then comes the Bhagamandala Temple Talacauvery / Talakaveri. A bath within the holy waters of the Bhagamandala isn't solely sacred but a really spiritual rise and cleansing experience of ourselves. Next up is Madikeri Fort which is usually closed on Mondays and on every other day is open from 10 am to 5:30 pm. This fort tells the history of Coorg and serves as an insight for the bygone era.

As you proceed with your third day, check-out of the hotel and hop on your ride back to Bangalore. Along the way make a stop at the Dubare Elephant Camp which is an important base for Forest Department Elephants. The timings for the camp are 8:30 am to 11 am and 4: 30 am to 5:30 pm.

Next you will be visiting Golden Temple which is a Tibetan Monastery named as Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe. It is the largest teaching centre of school of Tibetan Buddhism. After the completion of visiting these places continue your drive to Bangalore and reach your station/airport for onward journey home.
