The Jantar Mantar is an enclosure full of huge astrological instruments to study the stars. There are a lot of curious constructions to determine for example the time of day, the position of celestial bodies, the elevation, the azimuth, etc. It has the largest solar clock we have ever seen, 27 meters high, in which you can see in detail the second hand having an accuracy of two seconds of error.

Legend has it that he had the bravest warriors and that in one of the battles, faced with the impending defeat, they decided to take their lives by penetrating their chest with their daggers. • FAQs for Rajasthan

Jaipur is a place where you can see the Maharaja Culture. In every city you can different cultures. Also food of Jaipur is very famous.

Udaipur is a city totally different from Jaipur, and another one that you should point out on your list of cities to see in Rajasthan. In Udaipur everything happens around Lake Pichola. This is, with the white Taj Lake Palace in the middle of the water, the quintessential photo of the city. The famous movie “Octopussy” by James Bond was filmed in Udaipur, so you will find dozens of posters and graffiti in his honor and hotels that show it day after day. On your trip to Udaipur you should not miss the City Palace, with its beautiful architecture, or the Jagdish Temple with its peculiar towers and sadhus that will try to sneak into your photo to ask for a tip for image rights.

For some it is a city that was sold to tourism and now is always plagued by neo-hippies who come to buy clothes to sell it much more expensive in the West; for others, Pushkar is a small and quiet Indian city where to stop disconnecting from the chaos of the rest of the country.

Deepali's 4 days trip to Rajasthan

I would overall rate this Jaipur trip as 6/10. We really enjoyed our trip by visiting multiple places in rajasthan. The cab was also very convenient. The hotel stay which we got in Udaipur (Mukund Villas) & Chittorgarh (roop shree) were extremely good. We really got a very good service from their staff and felt like home. The only complaint we had was with Hotel Park Classic, in Jaipur. The service was worst, check-in almost took 30min, already used tea/coffee mugs were lying in the lobby besides our room, we were entirely disturbed by many people who were staying there in that hotel for some marriage function. They were playing dhols and everything inside the hotel rooms and lobby. Tried complaining many a times but the staff didn't care much.

Everything was good, but the driver was not trained. He did not have the knowledge about the places or he misguides us,don't know. Atleast if we are paying , then you should help us to purchase tickets to take us to all the places as per the itinerary.

Vidhya's 8 days trip to Rajasthan

This was my 3rd trip with travel triangle and i took only cab facility for my trip. There I have little issue on the cab which include miscommunication from agent end, driver was less experience and less energetic and on the last day of my trip agent informed us we have to give extra amount which was not informed us earlier but later it got resolved. So i would at the end it was a good experience but not upto my expectations.
