Like a crown jewel, Sikkim stands at the North-Eastern end of India and attracts thousands of tourists both from within the Indian regions and abroad. You can also visit the place by booking a Sikkim tour package from Bangalore.

Sikkim is one of the most stunningly gorgeous regions of India. It is located right in the lap of the mighty Himalayas, making it a go-to vacation destination for mountain lovers. At an altitude of 1800 meters lies the state’s capital, Gangtok. Gangtok is undoubtedly one of the best and most fulfilling hill stations to visit in India. Furry clouds surround the beautiful hillock that houses the city. Several street markets adorn it and give tourists the pleasures of Urban Sikkim. A few kilometers up north lies Northern Sikkim, a part of the state which shares its boundary with Nepal and China. The state's dramatic landscape is home to twisted mountain paths that lead to hilltop monasteries, reflecting the strong influence of Buddhism over the region. You can step foot in the quaint Rumtek Monastery to have unrivaled mountain-top views of Sikkim's smallest villages. You can also visit the Gurudongmar lake to explore the state’s religious history and customs and have a walk on the banks of the holy lake. If interested in politics, defense, and India’s modern history, the Nathu La Pass is one place you should keep on the top of your itinerary. This pass joins India and China via Sikkim.

Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling holiday tour

Hi, Our trip has been completed and it was quite good. Your services were excellent on the trip. The contact point was responsive and we were always provided good cabs and never had to wait for them. Although our travel had multiple states and a lot of road travel, the cars were never an issue. Great Work !

    Best Time To Visit

Whenever planning a trip, one must choose a good weather so that the holiday can be enjoyed in a pleasant season.

    Summer

The entire Indian subcontinent is home to dry and hot summer winds From April to June. But Sikkim finds a home at the Himalayan foothills, making it immune to this heat. This is why it would do you a lot of good to take a quick detour to Sikkim during your summer vacation. In most Sikkim cities, the average temperature ranges from 13 degrees to 28 degrees during summers. These temperatures are comfortable during the day, but get chilly at night.

    Monsoon

From May to September, several cities in the Southern part of Sikkim see lots of rain. These months moisturize the entire valley, and vegetation flourishes. The temperature of Sikkim in monsoon drops very slightly as a result of increased precipitation and humidity might get unbearable sometimes.

    Winter

Snowfall in Sikkim is best observed in winter months, with the entire state experiencing blizzards and snowstorms occasionally. If you are a lover of snow and want a romantic vacation, this might be the season for you to visit Sikkim. The higher mountainous regions become difficult to access due to snow blockage or landslides during winter months. However, most low lying areas can be explored without hassle.
