Best Time To Visit Gujarat

Summer season (March-June)

With temperatures ranging between 29-41 degrees celsius in the scorching summer months, exploring the outdoors isn’t advisable. In case you can steal time to visit this lovely state only during the summer months then we’d advise you to explore the scenic, tranquil and craft-centric hill town of Saputara that offers pleasant weather all round the year. You could also choose selective places like Vadodara and Dwarka where the days can be spent relaxing at your comfortable resort or hotel, and you can visit the temples and attractions after sundown. However, it is advisable to avoid the summer season for booking any Gujarat tour packages from Bangalore.

Monsoon (July-September)

The rainy season breathes fresh life into the landscapes and forests after the blistering summer heat. This shoulder season is a good time to visit the state, as the varying shades of green soothe the eyes and make it perfect to explore the sights owing to the lovely weather and temperature (between 27-35 degrees). Whether you explore the wildlife amidst the lush forests or visit historic attractions, the monsoon season is a great choice to discover the many wonders of Gujarat. Nothing can beat the pleasure of sipping a hot cup of tea or digging into a sumptuous Gujarati thali to the pitter-patter of falling drops.

Winter (October-February)

The comfortable temperatures of the winter season, ranging between 12 and 29 degrees Celsius, make this the best time to visit Gujarat. You can spend the entire day exploring the myriad attractions without getting exhausted or scorched by the heat. Though the coastal areas may be a tad cooler, it is still a good time to spend time soaking in the sun to the sound of splashing waves while marveling at many tints of the setting sun.

Snehalatajangam's 4 days trip to Gujarat

We enjoyed the entire trip through Rann of Kutch from February 3rd to February 6th. We enjoyed a lot. It was a fantastic experience. From getting down at Bhuj railway station, our car driver (Mr. Fida) was very responsive throughout the trip till reaching the station on the last day, reaching all the sightseeing spots on time for all the four days. Car drives well. The condition of car was good. Both the ilark hotel and Gate way to runn resort that you have booked are very good in terms of management, food quality, rooms etc. We are also thankful to Gujarat State Tourism, which has done a great job of preserving the historical sites. (Suggestion: Guides and their studies felt lacking). Thanks again.!! We took photos with the staff of Hotel ilark and with the car driver ( Mr. Fida) making it a memorable things.
