Tourists making Nepal their dream destination to visit. Nepal has become one of the most famous destinations in the world. The most convenient way to reach Mumbai to Nepal is by taking a flight to Kathmandu Airport. Nepal Airlines, Air India, and Indigo provide direct flights from Mumbai to Kathmandu. Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) also operates connecting flights via Delhi to go from Mumbai to Nepal by air. Another option is to take a train to Gorakhpur or Varanasi and then continue the rest of the journey to Nepal by road.

How to Reach Nepal from Mumbai By Flight

There is an airport in Nepal known as Tribhuvan International Airport. Some airlines operate on this route, like IndiGo, Air India, and Nepal Airlines provide flights that operate daily. It usually takes flights around 2 hours and 37 minutes to reach Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) from Mumbai. However, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai also operates connecting flights via Delhi to go from Mumbai to Nepal by air. The layover time can vary for Mumbai to Nepal flight duration as per the airlines.

How to Reach Nepal From Mumbai By Train

There is no direct rail connectivity from Mumbai to Nepal. However, the best route to travel from Mumbai to Nepal is by train; one has to first go from the LTT terminus in Mumbai to Gorakhpur Junction, and from there, travellers can take a bus or hire a car. Kushinagar Express, Godan Express, and Gorakhpur Express are direct trains between Mumbai and Gorakhpur. It takes around 30 to 35 hours to reach Gorakhpur from Mumbai by train. And then another 3 hours to reach Nepal from Gorakhpur.

How To Reach Nepal From Mumbai By Road

As there is no direct route for Mumbai to Nepal by road, you can use your own vehicle to break the journey by crossing multiple borders. It will take around 27 hours to reach. However, many private buses are also available to use and get to Nepal by Road. So, it is better to use other modes like train or flight.
