Who This Package Suits
Pick this trip if you want the beach side of Bali without packing a bag every second day. You check in once in Kuta, close to the airport, and move once to Seminyak for the last two nights, where the restaurants and beach bars are. Ubud and Kintamani are covered as a full day out, which is enough for a first look at the island's interior. If you would rather sleep among the rice fields, ask your agent to swap the two Seminyak nights for Ubud. Planning a honeymoon instead? Our Bali honeymoon package from Mumbai is planned for newly-weds. Prefer a shorter break? The 5-night Bali tour from Mumbai drops the island day.

Day 1: Land in Bali, Kuta Check-in, Couple Massage and Candlelight Dinner
Your agent meets you outside arrivals at Ngurah Rai Airport with a name board. The drive to Mercure Bali Harvestland Kuta in Tuban takes about 10 minutes, so you are in your room soon after clearing immigration and paying the tourist levy. Keep the evening light. A Balinese couple massage is booked close to the hotel, followed by a candlelight dinner, the one dinner of the trip that the price covers. If your flight lands late, the dinner moves to the next evening rather than being lost. Kuta Beach is a 10-minute ride north if you want a walk on the sand afterwards.
Day 2: Celuk, Mas, Ubud, Tegallalang and Kintamani
This is the long day, so the car leaves after an early breakfast. The first stops are the craft villages on the road north. Celuk is where families have worked silver for generations, and Mas is known for its wood carving. Ubud comes next, with time for the market and the streets around the palace. Then you reach the Tegallalang rice terraces, where the paths drop into the valley and swings hang over the edge (a paid add-on). The road climbs to Kintamani at about 1,500 metres for lunch with a view across Lake Batur to the volcano. Carry a light jacket, as it is cooler up there. You reach Kuta again by early evening, about 10 hours after setting off. Prefer the Mount Batur sunrise trek? Ask for it as a paid swap.
Day 3: Tanjung Benoa Water Sports
Tanjung Benoa, on the calm lagoon side of the Nusa Dua peninsula, is about 30 minutes from Kuta and is where most of Bali's water sports operators are based. Mornings bring the flattest water, so you head out after breakfast. Three rides are included: a jet ski, a banana boat and a parasailing flight over the bay. Snorkelling, sea walking and a glass-bottom boat to Turtle Island can be added at the counter. You are free by lunchtime. In the evening, most travellers on this trip add the Uluwatu cliff temple at sunset and the Kecak fire dance that starts in the amphitheatre beside it (paid on the day, about 45 minutes from Benoa).
Day 4: Nusa Lembongan Day Trip
An early transfer takes you to Sanur, where the fast boat crosses to Nusa Lembongan in about 30 to 40 minutes. The island is small and quieter than Bali. You spend the day at a beach club with a pool above the water, then visit Mushroom Bay, a sheltered curve of white sand with clear shallows that are good for a swim. Ask about the Devil's Tear rocks on the west coast, where waves blow spray high into the air. The return boat lands you in Sanur late afternoon and the car takes you back to your Kuta hotel for the fourth night. If you would rather see the cliffs of Kelingking Beach, swap this day for Nusa Penida at a small extra cost.
Day 5: Move to Seminyak
After breakfast and checkout, the car takes you 20 to 30 minutes up the coast to Marbella Pool Suites on Jalan Lebak Sari, in the Petitenget end of Seminyak. Check-in is from early afternoon, so leave your bags and walk to Seminyak Square for the clothing boutiques and the small market stalls selling sarongs, rattan bags and silver. Jalan Kayu Aya, the strip locals call Eat Street, is the place for lunch. As the light drops, head to Seminyak or Double Six beach, where the bars set out bean bags on the sand facing west. For more ideas around the area, see our list of things to do in Seminyak. Want a villa with your own pool for these two nights? Ask your agent for an upgrade quote.
Day 6: Tanah Lot at Sunset
Keep the morning for the pool or the beach, because the car leaves in the afternoon for Tanah Lot, about 45 minutes to an hour from Seminyak. The temple sits on a rock just off the shore. Visitors cannot climb it or enter the inner shrine. At low tide you can walk across to its base, where priests offer a blessing with water from the freshwater spring under the rock. For the sunset, find a spot on the cliffs opposite or at one of the cafés along the path, and be there by 5:30 pm. The entry ticket is paid at the gate. You are back in Seminyak by around 8 pm for a late dinner on your own.
Day 7: Fly Home to Mumbai
Breakfast, a last swim, and checkout at noon. If your flight is in the evening, as the 2027 non-stop will be, the hotel can hold your bags while you have lunch in Seminyak, or your agent can request a late checkout. The drive to Ngurah Rai Airport takes 30 to 45 minutes, and up to an hour in evening traffic, so plan to leave about 3 hours before departure. Keep some rupiah for the airport cafés, as card machines there are not always quick. Your agent will reconfirm the pickup time the night before.
