Why This Trip Is Good Value Under Rs 25,000

The closest like-for-like trip we found from another Indian operator, 4 nights split between Kuta and an Ubud villa, starts at Rs 32,850 per person on land before GST and TCS (checked October 2026). This one is Rs 21,000. The saving does not come from cutting corners on the parts you will notice. Your transfers and tours are private, so you are never waiting at a hotel lobby for a shared coach to collect ten other guests. The Ubud nights are in a villa rather than a town hotel, and the four big paid experiences (watersports, Kintamani, the spa and Tanah Lot) are already in the price.

What keeps it cheap is the shape. Four nights instead of six, two hotels instead of three, and lunches left to you, so you eat at warungs for Rs 400 to Rs 700 a meal instead of paying hotel rates. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bali, Kuta and a Jimbaran Beach Dinner

Your driver-guide meets you at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar (DPS) and drives you to Swiss-Belhotel Tuban, about 10 to 15 minutes away. Bali runs on WITA time, 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, so an overnight flight lands in the morning there. Check-in is in the afternoon, so leave your bags and take a short taxi ride (about 1.5 km) to Kuta beach while the room is readied. In the evening the car takes you to Jimbaran beach for a candle-light dinner on the sand, with tables set at the water's edge. Tell your planner in advance whether you want the vegetarian or the seafood menu. Overnight in Kuta.

Day 2: Watersports at Tanjung Benoa

After breakfast, drive about 30 minutes south to Tanjung Benoa, the calm, reef-sheltered beach where most of Bali's watersports operate. Three rides are booked privately for your group. You go up single on a parasail behind a speedboat, hold on through a banana-boat ride that usually ends with everyone in the water, and take a jet ski out across the bay. Sessions are short, so the whole morning is done well before lunch. Operators at the beach will offer extras such as a sea walk or a flyboard. These are at your cost, so agree the price before you sign up. The afternoon is free for Kuta beach, the Beachwalk mall or a nap. Overnight in Kuta.

Day 3: Tegenungan Waterfall, Kintamani and Your Ubud Villa

Check out after breakfast for the longest and best day of the trip, so start early. The first stop, about an hour north of Kuta, is Celuk, where families have worked silver for generations. Tegenungan waterfall is a short drive further on, and the plunge pool is quieter before the tour buses arrive around 10 am. Then comes Mas, the woodcarving village, where you can watch a carver at work before deciding whether to buy, and a stop at Ubud village and the Ubud Art Market (Pasar Seni Ubud), with its stalls of handicrafts, textiles and wood carvings. Keep each stop short, because the road from Ubud up to Kintamani takes an hour or more. Kintamani sits about 1,500 metres up, with a view across the caldera to Mount Batur and its crater lake. The view is clearest before the afternoon cloud rolls in, and it is noticeably cooler, so carry a light jacket. Lunch is at your cost, at a warung in Ubud or with the volcano view at Kintamani. Kendran lies between Kintamani and Ubud, so your villa is on the way back down and you check in by evening. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 4: Balinese Spa and Sunset at Tanah Lot

Today is slow on purpose. The morning is yours at the villa, and Kendran sits in the Tegallalang district, so the rice terraces are a short ride away if you want an early walk before the crowds. Around midday you are driven to a two-hour traditional Balinese spa session, long enough for an unhurried full-body massage. In the late afternoon the car heads south-west to Tanah Lot, about 1.5 to 2 hours from Kendran each way and longer in weekend traffic, so you leave by 3:30 pm to reach the cliffs before the light turns. The temple sits on a rock in the sea, and at low tide you can walk across to its base. Your entrance ticket is included. Stay until the sun drops behind it, then drive back to Ubud, which takes about two hours in evening traffic, so plan dinner near the villa. Overnight in Ubud.

Day 5: Departure from Denpasar

Enjoy a last breakfast at the villa and check out. Your private car drives you back to Ngurah Rai International Airport, a journey of about 1.5 to 2 hours from Kendran depending on traffic around Denpasar. Plan to leave the villa at least four hours before an international departure, and more on a weekend afternoon. If your flight is late in the day, ask your planner about a late check-out or a short stop on the way, such as a coffee plantation near Ubud. What This 4N/5D Bali Budget Trip Costs with Flights

The Rs 21,000 package price covers everything on the ground, but you still need a flight and two entry fees. This is the realistic total per person for this trip.

For a couple, that is about Rs 96,000 to Rs 1.4 lakh in total. The biggest swing is the flight. Delhi has an Air India non-stop that leaves at 22:40 and lands at 8:10 am, Bengaluru has a daily IndiGo non-stop, and Mumbai has a daily IndiGo service through Chennai. Tax collected at source (TCS) is added when you pay for any overseas package from India. It is a flat 2% of the package price since 1 April 2026, about Rs 420 on this trip, and you claim it back against your income tax. Conversions use Rs 1 to about IDR 190. Visa and Entry for Indian Passports

Indian passport holders need a visa for Bali, and it takes minutes. The visa on arrival, also available online as an e-VoA before you fly, costs IDR 500,000 per person, is valid for 30 days and can be extended once. Every visitor also pays the Love Bali tourist levy of IDR 150,000, once per trip, online or at the airport.

Within 72 hours before you land, fill in the free All Indonesia arrival card online. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date, and immigration may ask to see your return ticket.
