Indian passport holders get a visa on arrival, and the island charges a one-time tourist levy. Both are explained further down, along with the real trip cost for a couple. Bali Trip Cost from Delhi (Per Person and Per Couple)

A 5-night Bali trip from Delhi costs about Rs 1.63 lakh to Rs 2.13 lakh for a couple on our lowest-priced package, once you add return flights, the visa on arrival and the tourist levy for two. Without flights the same trip is about Rs 93,000. The table adds every fixed charge so you can compare like for like.

Trip from Delhi Package (2 people) Visa on arrival + levy (2 people) Return flights from Delhi (2 people) Couple total with flights
5N/6D Kuta and Ubud Rs 85,998 about Rs 7,000 Rs 70,000 to Rs 1,20,000 about Rs 1.63 lakh to Rs 2.13 lakh
5N/6D Kuta to Nusa Dua circuit, up to 5 star Rs 94,000 about Rs 7,000 Rs 70,000 to Rs 1,20,000 about Rs 1.71 lakh to Rs 2.21 lakh
6N/7D Kuta and Seminyak Rs 1,27,998 about Rs 7,000 Rs 70,000 to Rs 1,20,000 about Rs 2.05 lakh to Rs 2.55 lakh
7N/8D Singapore and Bali Rs 2,09,998 about Rs 7,000, plus a Singapore visa multi-city fare, quoted live quoted with your dates

What sits outside the package price is the money you spend on the ground. Lunches and dinners are not included on these packages. A meal at a Kuta or Seminyak warung costs a few hundred rupees a head, while a beach-club dinner in Seminyak can run past Rs 3,000 for two. Ask your planner to fold add-ons like Nusa Penida into the quote so the full cost is fixed before you fly. For a smaller budget, the budget Bali tour packages start lower; for private pool villas and 5-star stays, see luxury Bali tour packages.

Flights from Delhi for Your Bali Package

Delhi has the only Air India non-stop to Bali. It flies five days a week from Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Denpasar, 5,822 km away, and takes about 7 to 8 hours. International flights from Delhi leave from Terminal 3.

Flight Leaves Delhi Days Stops Time in the air
Air India AI2145 Evening Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun Non-stop about 7 to 8 h
Air India AI2147 Early morning Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun Non-stop about 7 to 8 h
IndiGo Daily Daily until 30 Dec 2026 Via Bhubaneswar, same aircraft About 9 h
IndiGo A321XLR Filed from 1 Jan 2027 Daily Non-stop About 7 h 30 min
Singapore Airlines, Scoot, Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Thai Several daily Daily One stop in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok 10 to 15 h with the layover

Pick the evening Air India departure if your dates allow it. Because Bali runs 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, you land on the island's morning, check in after lunch and lose no holiday day to the flight.

A return economy ticket from Delhi usually costs Rs 35,000 to Rs 60,000 per person. Fares climb in the Diwali week, the Christmas to New Year fortnight and June, when Indian schools close. Book 6 to 8 weeks ahead for those dates. For airport tips, baggage rules and a full comparison of every route, read our guide on how to reach Bali from Delhi.

Bali Visa on Arrival and Tourist Levy for Indians

Indian passport holders flying from Delhi do not need a visa before they travel. You buy a visa on arrival at Ngurah Rai, or the same visa online as an e-VoA before you board, which saves the queue at the airport.

What you need Detail
Visa on arrival / e-VoA IDR 500,000 (about Rs 2,700), valid 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days
Bali tourist levy IDR 150,000 (about Rs 800) per person, paid once per trip at lovebali.baliprov.go.id
Passport Valid at least 6 months from your arrival date, with blank pages
Arrival card All Indonesia arrival card, filled online within 72 hours before landing
Return ticket Carry your onward or return flight booking; immigration can ask for it

Pay the levy online before you leave Delhi and keep the QR code on your phone. Our planners send every traveller a checklist with these links a week before departure. The full step-by-step process, including the e-VoA form, is in our Bali visa for Indians guide.

Sample 5 Nights 6 Days Bali Itinerary from Delhi

This is the day plan of our best-value package, the Bali Kuta and Ubud Tour Package From Delhi. Every day can be swapped or stretched with your planner.

Day Where you stay What you do
Day 1 Kuta Land at Ngurah Rai on the overnight Air India flight. Private transfer to your Kuta hotel, then an easy evening on Kuta Beach
Day 2 Kuta Day trip to Bedugul and the Ulun Danu Bratan lake temple, then sunset at Tanah Lot
Day 3 Kuta Water sports at Tanjung Benoa (parasailing, jet ski, banana boat) and a seafood dinner on Jimbaran Bay

Day 5 Ubud Ubud sightseeing: Tegallalang rice terraces, Ubud Palace and the art market
Day 6 Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi

Three upgrades are worth asking about. The first is a Nusa Penida day trip for Kelingking Beach. The second is the Kecak fire dance at Uluwatu Temple at sunset. The third is a 4 am Mount Batur sunrise trek, often paired with an ATV ride or the Bali Swing near Ubud. Adding a sixth night lets you fit two of them without rushing. Read more about the Nusa Penida day trip before you decide.

Where Our Delhi Packages Take You

Every Bali package from Delhi is built around four bases, and the right mix depends on how many nights you have.

Kuta is where nearly every itinerary starts, 15 minutes from the airport, with the surf beach, Waterbom and Beachwalk mall within walking distance. Seminyak, just north, is quieter and dearer, with beach clubs, boutique villas and the Petitenget temple. Jimbaran and Nusa Dua sit on the southern peninsula. Jimbaran is known for seafood grilled on the sand, and Nusa Dua for gated 5-star resorts and calm water that suits children. Ubud, about 90 minutes inland, is the cultural half of the trip, with the Monkey Forest, Tegallalang rice terraces and Tirta Empul temple. Packages with 6 or 7 nights add Canggu, Bedugul or a night on Nusa Lembongan.

For entry fees, timings and the full list of sights, see our guide to places to visit in Bali, or the complete Bali travel guide.

Best Time to Visit Bali from Delhi

The best time to visit Bali from Delhi is April to October, Bali's dry season. It also lines up with Delhi's worst heat. In May and June, when IGI's thermometer reads 45°C, Bali sits around 30°C with sea breezes.

Months Bali weather What it means for a Delhi traveller
April to June Dry, sunny, 27 to 31°C Best value. Escape Delhi's summer before the July crowds. June fares rise once schools close
July to August Driest, busiest Peak season. Book hotels and flights 8 weeks ahead
September to October Dry, quieter Good weather, lower prices. Watch for Diwali-week fare spikes from Delhi
November to March Wet season, short heavy showers Cheapest hotels outside Christmas to New Year. Delhi's winter break makes late December the costliest fortnight

Bali shuts down for Nyepi, the Day of Silence, once a year. In 2027 it falls on Monday 8 March, and Ngurah Rai airport closes for 24 hours, so avoid flying that day. For a month-by-month breakdown, read our guide on the best time to visit Bali.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service & Highly Recommended I had a wonderful experience with Auranaya Travel while planning and during my trip to Bali. A special thanks to Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, who guided and supported me throughout the journey. Krishna was extremely helpful, responsive, and dependable f
rom the planning stage until my trip was completed. His guidance helped make my Bali experience smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. What I appreciated the most was his support when I unexpectedly ran short of funds for my personal expenses while I was in Bali. Krishna went beyond his responsibility as a travel agent and helped me arrange the necessary funds at a time when I genuinely needed assistance. His willingness to help me even with something outside the normal scope of travel services showed his commitment to his customers. I sincerely appreciate Krishna Kumar Yadav and Auranaya Travel for their professionalism, reliability, and personal attention. Having someone trustworthy and easily reachable while travelling abroad gives you great peace of mind. Thank you, Krishna, for your excellent service and for being there when I needed help the most. I would happily recommend Auranaya Travel and Krishna Kumar Yadav to anyone planning a trip. Definitely 5 stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service & Highly Recommended

Prem Kumar Tyagi

Prem's 6 days trip to Bali

The trip was organised well in advance, with specific instructions ensuring the comfort level of travellers (all travellers were senior citizens). Given below are major observations for further improvement: 1. 06/09/26: Arrival in Bali: There was an arrival time difference between the two groups. I
t could have been better if separate pickup was arranged so that excessive waiting time could have been avoided by the first group members. The reason was the distance between the airport and the place of stay. The travel advisor could have arranged the itinerary in such a way that the first day was spent at a nearby place. Anyway, not a major issue. 2. Stay at Ubud: The property was good; the only issue was that it was not properly maintained. In two villas, the room fridge was not working. The next day, a mechanic was called, and he suggested replacement. Toiletries were not filled in before arrival; even the tea pouches were made available on request. Warm water was not available in some villas. The major issue was property selection; all members were entitled to equal amenities, whereas in fact, the villa configuration was different for two facilities. The tour organiser was aware of the same, and we were kept in the dark. 3. 07/09: The day was spent well. The driver arrived on time. No major issues. 4. 08/09: The sightseeing itinerary planning was OK. But faced issues at the new property. The rooms allotted were not accessible by lift, whereas members were having knee issues and were not OK with stairs. After a lot of persuasion, the rooms were shifted. It was specifically mentioned that since the group comprises senior citizens, either book the rooms on the ground floor or the lift should be accessible on the upper floor. If, after arrival, we have to manage that, why at all are we engaging a travel organiser is a moot question. 5. 09/09: The itinerary planning was poor. Returned to the hotel by around 3.30 pm; had to miss one scheduled activity as there was a gap of 3 hrs in the next item on the schedule, whereas the plan mentioned that it was till 8 pm. The planning was at fault. 6. While finalising the itinerary, the organiser missed one major activity of bali swing. It is an iconic activity associated with Bali. Don't know why it was not included. Secondly, in the itinerary, there is a reference to a volcano visit which was not covered. Further, at Nusa Penida: In the itinerary, it was mentioned to keep IRD 25K per person for the broken bridge, but we were taken to two places where, at each place, the entry fee of 25K was demanded, and we were short of cash. The driver had no idea about the speedboat, dropped us at a location too far away, and we had to walk more than one kilometre, whereas the nearest parking was available within walking distance (say, 50-100 meters) 7. 11/09: Early morning (4 AM) departure to the airport was not well coordinated. 8. Last but not least: In a foreign country, the driver is the sole communicator between travellers and the local community. We were told the driver cum guide would be English-speaking. We can understand the limitation, but communication skills are a critical factor and needs serious improvement. Being professional is different, but travellers need a companion during the trip, which was a major miss. Summary: We enjoyed the trip, but the experience could have been better. I would say that we deserve compensation for the deficiency of services we faced during the trip to restore our confidence in Travel Triangle to assign our future trips (this was 3rd trip we organised through Travel Triangle)

FAQs About Bali Tour Packages

Is there a direct flight from Delhi to Bali?

Yes. Air India flies non-stop from Delhi IGI to Denpasar (Ngurah Rai) five days a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as AI2145 and AI2147. IndiGo flies daily via Bhubaneswar on the same aircraft until 30 December 2026, and has filed an A321XLR non-stop from Delhi starting 1 January 2027. Every other airline needs a change in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok.

How long is the flight from Delhi to Bali?

The Air India non-stop takes about 7 to 8 hours for the 5,822 km. IndiGo via Bhubaneswar takes about 9 hours, and a one-stop itinerary through Singapore or Kuala Lumpur takes 10 to 15 hours including the layover. Bali is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India, so the evening departure from Delhi lands the next morning, local time.

How much would a tour of Bali cost including flights?

A 5-night Bali tour from Delhi costs about Rs 81,000 to Rs 1.06 lakh per person including return flights. That is the Rs 42,999 land package, a Rs 35,000 to Rs 60,000 return ticket and about Rs 3,500 for the visa on arrival and tourist levy. The 6-night Kuta and Seminyak package starts at Rs 63,999 before flights. A couple should plan for Rs 1.63 lakh to Rs 2.55 lakh in total, depending on the package and the month.

How much does a flight to Bali cost from Delhi?

A return economy ticket from Delhi to Bali usually costs Rs 35,000 to Rs 60,000 per person. The lower end applies to April, May, September and early November. Fares rise around Diwali, from mid-December to the first week of January, and in June. Booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead keeps you near the lower end.

Are flights included in Bali tour packages from Delhi?

The prices on the cards cover hotels, breakfast, transfers and sightseeing. Your planner adds the return flight from Delhi at the live fare for your dates, so the quote you approve already includes it. If you have booked flights or want to use miles, ask for a land-only quote and pay for the ground arrangements only.

Do Indians need a visa for Bali?

Indians do not need a visa in advance. You get a visa on arrival at Ngurah Rai, or apply online for the e-VoA before you fly. It costs IDR 500,000 (about Rs 2,700), is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for 30 more. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months, and you fill the All Indonesia arrival card online within 72 hours before landing.

What is the Bali tourist levy and who pays it?

Every foreign visitor to Bali, including Indians, pays a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (about Rs 800) per person, once per trip. It has applied since 14 February 2024 and is paid online at lovebali.baliprov.go.id or at the airport counter. Pay it online before you leave Delhi and keep the QR code on your phone to skip the queue.

How many days are enough for a Bali trip from Delhi?

Five nights is enough for a first Bali trip from Delhi. It covers three nights in Kuta with a Bedugul and Tanah Lot day and water sports, then two nights in Ubud. Take 6 to 7 nights if you want Seminyak, a Nusa Penida day trip or a Mount Batur sunrise trek without rushing. Because the Air India flight lands in the morning, you lose almost no holiday time to travel.

What can I do in Bali for 5 days?

Spend three days around Kuta and two in Ubud. After landing on the morning Air India flight, take the Bedugul lake temple and the Tanah Lot sunset on day two and water sports at Tanjung Benoa with dinner on Jimbaran Bay on day three. Then move inland for the Tegallalang rice terraces, Ubud Palace and the art market before flying home on day six. The itinerary table above shows the full day plan of our best-value package.

Which is the best and cheapest month to go to Bali from Delhi?

April to October is the best time, because it is Bali's dry season and matches Delhi's hottest months. The best-value window is late April to early June and September, before the Diwali fare spike. November to March is cheaper on hotels but wetter, except the Christmas to New Year fortnight, which is the most expensive time to fly from Delhi. Avoid 8 March 2027, Nyepi, when the airport closes.

Can I use my Indian SIM card and rupees in Bali?

Indian SIMs work on international roaming, but a local Telkomsel or XL SIM is far cheaper, and the Kuta and Ubud package includes one with 1 GB of data. Bali uses the Indonesian rupiah (IDR). Carry US dollars or a forex card and change money only at authorised money changers. Use Bluebird taxis or app cabs rather than unmetered cars.

Can I customise a Bali tour package from Delhi?

Yes. Every package is a starting point. Your planner can change hotels, swap the star band, add nights in Ubud or Seminyak, include a Nusa Penida trip or a private pool villa, and pick the Air India or IndiGo flight that suits you. You get quotes from up to three verified agents and pay only once the itinerary is final.
