Bali Tour Package: 6N/7D Overview
This 7-day Bali itinerary spends three nights in Kuta and three nights in Seminyak, so you change hotels only once. You stay at the Sheraton on Kuta Beach first, then in a private-pool villa at The Oberoi in Seminyak. From Kuta you raft the Ayung River, look across to Mount Batur from Kintamani and take a glass-bottom boat to Turtle Island. You tour Ubud on the way to Seminyak, spend two hours at a Balinese spa there and can add a Tanah Lot sunset or a day on Nusa Penida. Every transfer and tour runs in a private car, and the land package starts at Rs 38,000 per person on twin sharing.
TravelTriangle's Bali trips are rated 4.3 out of 5 by the travellers who took them. You can change any day of this plan before you pay. Updated October 2026.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Bali and Check In on Kuta Beach
Your driver meets you at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar (DPS) and drives you to the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, about 20 minutes away. The Air India non-stop from Delhi lands at 8:10 am and the IndiGo non-stop from Bengaluru at 10:15 am, local time, which is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of India. Hotel check-in is in the afternoon, and an early room is charged by the hotel. Leave your bags, have lunch at Beachwalk Shopping Center next door, and take the first swim of the trip. The hotel faces Kuta Beach across Jalan Pantai Kuta, so you cross one road to reach the sand. Kuta's beach faces west, and by 6 pm half the town is out on it for the sunset. Dinner is your own. Poppies Lane, a five-minute walk away, has Indian and vegetarian menus as well as Balinese warungs. Buy a local SIM or eSIM at the airport and draw some rupiah, because small shops and parking attendants take cash only. Overnight in Kuta.
Day 2: Ayung River Rafting, Kintamani and a Coffee Plantation
Eat breakfast early, because the car leaves at 7:30 am. The drive north to the Ayung River near Ubud takes about 1.5 hours. The rafting run lasts around two hours on grade II to III water, which means real rapids but nothing that needs experience, and the river cuts through a jungle gorge with rice terraces on the walls above you. Carry a change of clothes and a dry bag for your phone. From the river the road climbs past the Tegallalang rice terraces, where the driver pulls in at the viewpoint for photos of the stepped paddies, and on to Kintamani, about 1,500 metres up on the rim of an old caldera. From the ridge you look straight across to Mount Batur, an active volcano, and the crescent of Lake Batur at its foot. It is noticeably cooler up here, so keep a light jacket in the car. Lunch at one of the ridge restaurants facing the volcano is at your cost. On the way down you stop at a coffee plantation to taste Balinese coffee, cocoa and herbal teas, then the car brings you back to Kuta by early evening. Overnight in Kuta.
Day 3: Tanjung Benoa Watersports, Turtle Island and an Optional Uluwatu Sunset
Have breakfast and drive about 30 minutes south to Tanjung Benoa, the reef-sheltered beach next to Nusa Dua where most of Bali's watersports operate. Three activities are booked for you. You go snorkelling over the reef, take a glass-bottomed boat ride to Turtle Island (Pulau Serangan) to see the turtle conservation centre, and hold on through a banana boat ride that usually ends with everyone in the water. Beach operators will offer parasailing or a jet ski as extras. These are at your cost, so agree the price before you sign. Head back to the hotel to relax by the pool in the afternoon. If you add the optional Uluwatu evening, the car collects you around 4 pm for the 45-minute drive to Uluwatu Temple, which stands on a sheer limestone cliff above the Indian Ocean. Watch the sun drop from the cliff path, then take your seat at the clifftop amphitheatre for the Kecak fire dance, where a chorus of men chanting "cak" tells a story from the Ramayana. Finish with grilled seafood on the sand at Jimbaran Bay on the way back. A sarong is required inside the temple and is handed out at the gate. Keep sunglasses and phones in a zipped bag, because the temple monkeys snatch them. Stay overnight in Kuta.
Day 4: Half-Day Ubud Tour and Check In to Your Seminyak Pool Villa
Check out after breakfast and leave for Ubud, Bali's cultural centre, about 1.5 hours inland. Leave Kuta by 8 am on this day. Ubud's roads jam after 11, and an early start gets you into the Monkey Forest before the coach groups. Your half-day tour starts at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a forest of banyan trees and moss-covered temples where more than a thousand long-tailed macaques live (open 9 am to 6 pm, IDR 130,000 per adult). From there it is a short walk up Monkey Forest Road to Ubud Palace, the former royal residence, and across the street to Ubud Art Market for sarongs, batik, woven bags and carvings. Bargaining is expected, and starting at half the asking price is normal. If you want to add Tirta Empul, the water temple where Balinese bathe under carved spouts, it is 30 minutes north of Ubud (IDR 75,000). In the afternoon the car takes you to Seminyak, about 1.5 hours south. Check in to your private pool villa at The Oberoi, Bali, set in gardens running down to Seminyak Beach. Dinner is your own, and Jalan Kayu Aya starts at the gate. Overnight in Seminyak.
Day 5: Balinese Spa Day in Seminyak, or an Optional Day on Nusa Penida
Have breakfast at the villa and take the day slowly. Your two-hour Balinese spa treatment is included today, long enough for a full-body massage using the island's traditional long strokes and a scrub or flower bath to finish. Spend the afternoon on Seminyak Beach in front of the hotel or browsing the boutiques and cafés on Jalan Kayu Aya, which starts at the hotel gate. If you would rather see Nusa Penida, swap the spa to Day 6 and book the optional island trip instead. You leave around 6:30 am for the fast boat from Sanur, which takes about 45 minutes. The west Nusa Penida tour covers Kelingking Beach, the cliff shaped like a T-Rex head, Broken Beach, a natural arch over a sea pool, Angel's Billabong, a rock pool on the cliff edge, and snorkelling at Crystal Bay. Expect to be back in Seminyak by 6 pm. The roads on the island are rough and the day is long, but it is the trip most travellers ask us to add to a 7-day Bali itinerary. Our Nusa Penida guide covers the island stop by stop. Overnight in Seminyak.
Day 6: Local Tour of Seminyak and Kuta, and an Optional Tanah Lot Sunset
Have breakfast and spend the morning at the villa pool or on the beach. Around midday your car takes you on the included local tour of Kuta and Seminyak. You stop at Pura Petitenget, the beachside temple a short walk from the hotel, then Seminyak Square and the Kuta shopping strip for last souvenirs. In the late afternoon the optional Tanah Lot trip leaves Seminyak by 4 pm for the 45 to 60-minute drive north-west. Tanah Lot is a temple built on a rock in the sea. At low tide you can walk across to the base of the rock, and at sunset the whole silhouette turns black against an orange sky (IDR 75,000 per adult). If you skip Tanah Lot, the beach clubs along Seminyak and Petitenget are the island's sunset scene, with daybeds and DJs from late afternoon. Back at the villa, this is a good night for a farewell dinner in Seminyak. Overnight in Seminyak.
Day 7: Departure from Bali
Have breakfast, take a last swim in your villa pool and check out by noon. Late check-out can be requested and is charged by the hotel. Your private car drives you to Ngurah Rai International Airport, a journey of 30 to 45 minutes from Seminyak that can stretch past an hour on a weekday evening. Leave at least three hours before an international departure. Keep some rupiah for coffee and snacks at the airport, where prices are high. Your 7-day Bali itinerary ends here.
Is 7 Days Enough for Bali?
Yes, for a first trip. Bali's main regions are Ubud, Kuta, Seminyak, Legian, Nusa Dua and Sanur, and seven days covers the four things most first-time visitors come for: Ubud's culture, a volcano view at Kintamani, a clifftop or sea-temple sunset and proper beach time. This plan does it with only one hotel change. Kuta is 20 minutes from the airport and is the better base for the long day trips north, so it comes first. Seminyak is quieter, closer to Tanah Lot and better for the slow last days, so it comes second. No single drive is longer than about 1.5 to 2 hours.
What a week leaves out is the far north and east (Lovina, Lempuyang's Gate of Heaven, the Munduk waterfalls) and a second island trip. You can do Nusa Penida or the Gili Islands in seven days, not both. If you want a third base in Ubud, look at the 9-day Bali tour with airfare or the 10N/11D Bali tour. For a shorter break there is the 5-day Bali trip, and every duration and budget sits on our Bali tour packages page.
The same week is also sold in three other versions. The Supreme Bali 6N/7D tour covers similar ground with 4-star hotels from Rs 35,000. Families can take the 6N/7D Bali family holiday, and couples the 6N/7D Bali honeymoon tour. If you want to read how a real week on the island went before you choose, our 8-day Bali itinerary travelogue is written by a traveller who did it.

What This 7-Day Bali Trip Costs with Flights
The Rs 38,000 is the land price. Here is what a traveller from India actually spends on this trip, per person on twin sharing, before any add-ons.
| Item | Cost per person |
|---|---|
| This 6N/7D land package (twin sharing) | Rs 38,000 |
| Return economy flights from Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru to Denpasar | Rs 20,000 to Rs 40,000 |
| Indonesia visa on arrival / e-VoA (IDR 500,000) | about Rs 2,600 |
| Love Bali tourist levy (IDR 150,000) | about Rs 790 |
| TCS at 2% on the package (claimable back) | about Rs 760 |
| Lunches and dinners for 7 days | Rs 9,000 to Rs 18,000 |
| Total | about Rs 71,000 to Rs 1,00,000 |
Flights are the biggest variable. Booking 6 to 8 weeks ahead and avoiding the Diwali, Christmas and May to June school-holiday peaks keeps you near the lower end. For a Bali trip with the flights already included, the 9-day Bali tour with airfare costs Rs 87,000. If the total is above your budget, our cheap Bali packages start well under Rs 25,000 on land, and a broader breakdown of Bali trip cost from India sits on our main Bali page.
Getting Around, Best Time and Tips for Indian Travellers
You never have to arrange a taxi on this trip. Every transfer and every included tour runs in a private car with a driver who stays with you for the day, which matters in Bali because there are no trains and public buses barely reach the sights. On the free evenings, Grab and Gojek apps work well around Kuta and Seminyak.
The best months for this itinerary are April to October, Bali's dry season, when the seas to Nusa Penida are calmest and the Kintamani view is clearest. July, August and the Indian school holidays are the busiest weeks. From November to March expect short, heavy afternoon showers, so the plan moves the outdoor sights into the mornings. Bali shuts down completely for Nyepi, the Day of Silence, on 8 March 2027, when even the airport closes for 24 hours. Month-by-month detail is in our guide to the best time to visit Bali.
• Indian passport holders pay for a visa on arrival or e-VoA (IDR 500,000, valid 30 days) and the Love Bali levy (IDR 150,000) on top. Fill in the free All Indonesia arrival card online within 72 hours before you land. Our Bali visa guide for Indians walks through each form.
• Vegetarian food is easy in Kuta and Seminyak. Both hotels serve special diet menus on request, and Indian restaurants are a short walk from each. For Jain meals, tell your agent when you book.
• Drink bottled or filtered water only and go easy on street ice in the first two days. That is how most people avoid the stomach upset locals call Bali Belly.
• Carry a scarf or sarong for temples. Uluwatu and Tirta Empul hand them out at the gate, but your own saves time.
• Rs 1 buys about IDR 190. ATMs are everywhere in Kuta and Seminyak, and cards work in hotels and malls, but keep cash for markets and parking.
Payment and Changes
You can pay in instalments. Request a quote and a TravelTriangle agent sends you the full price for your dates and hotels, the booking deposit and the dates for the balance, all in writing before you pay anything. You can change any day of this itinerary, upgrade or swap a hotel, or add the optional tours above, and the agent re-prices it on the same quote.
