There is no doubt that Goa has one of the most vibrant cultures in India. The people here are warm and friendly and are ever open to interacting with the tourists. The Portuguese influence can be seen all over this beach paradise in the way the houses were built and the variety  of churches here.

There is a mixture of Hindus, Muslims and Christians in this beautiful state that is filled with a unique diversity that binds the whole region. This is reflected in the way the various different festivals and fairs are celebrate here. Almost everyday there is a new festival and party being held in this natural wonderland.

You will also get to witness a number of carnivals here where all the locals and tourists celebrate the vibrancy of life with much gusto. Goan food also reflects its diverse culture with the Portuguese, the Konkan, and the Bahamani Nawabi traditions. What is common among these is seafood and rice.
