Dinesh's 5 days trip to Odisha

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Odisha, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the amazing sights, rich culture, and excellent services. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with the key attractions, accommodations, and cab service: ### 1. **Hotels:** The hotels I stayed at during my tour were well-selected and comfortable. In **Puri**, The room was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was polite and attentive., I stayed in a centrally located hotel that was perfect for exploring the temples and other local attractions. One of my favourite hotel stay at Taptapani hill Resort. The amenities were top-notch, and the rooms were spacious, ensuring a restful stay after a day of sightseeing. ### 2. **Cab Service:** The cab service throughout my trip was excellent. “Basudeb” was punctual, professional, and well-versed with the routes to all the tourist spots. The Toyota Rumion was comfortable and air-conditioned, making long rides enjoyable. “Basudeb” also provided valuable insights into the culture and history of the places we visited, which added a personal touch to the journey. ### 3. **Key Places Visited:** - **Jagannath Puri Temple:** The highlight of my trip, the **Jagannath Temple** in Puri is an architectural marvel. The atmosphere is electric, filled with devotion and grandeur. The rituals and cultural significance of the temple left me in awe. - **Konark Sun Temple:** The **Konark Sun Temple** is another must-visit. The intricate carvings, coupled with its historical significance, make it one of the most impressive temples I’ve visited in India. The sheer scale and beauty of the temple left me speechless. - **Chilika Lake:** A boat ride on **Chilika Lake** was an absolute highlight. The serene waters, surrounded by lush greenery, made for a peaceful and scenic experience. We also spotted some river dolphins, which added a touch of nature's beauty to the trip. - **Lingaraj Temple:** The **Lingaraj Temple** in Bhubaneswar is a classic example of Kalinga architecture. The temple's massive size and ornate carvings were breathtaking. It’s one of the oldest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the spiritual atmosphere is palpable. - **Mukteshwar Temple:** This small yet beautiful temple is a hidden gem in Bhubaneswar. The carvings and the serene environment around the temple make it a peaceful spot to visit. - **64 Yogini Temple:** In Bhubaneswar, I visited another famous 64 Yogini Temple in the Hirapur area. this one is relatively well-preserved and gives a better sense of the temple's original layout and purpose. It has 64 small stone cells, each of which was once home to a deity representing one of the Yoginis. The temple is small and simple in comparison to the grand temples of Odisha, but there’s a deep spiritual energy here. I spent time observing the intricately carved stone sculptures, which depict various deities and symbolic motifs. The temple was quiet, which allowed for a reflective visit. - **Taptapani:** The hot water springs in **Taptapani** offered a unique experience. I soaked in the warm waters, which were incredibly relaxing, especially after a long day of sightseeing. - **Tibetan Village:** The **Tibetan Village** was a lovely stop. The peaceful vibe, combined with Tibetan culture, monasteries, and handicrafts, was a delightful experience. I learned a lot about Tibetan traditions and had the chance to purchase beautiful souvenirs. ### 4. **Overall Experience:** The entire trip was well-organized, with seamless transitions from one place to the next. The combination of cultural exploration, relaxation at Chilika Lake, spiritual immersion at the temples, and the scenic beauty of places like Taptapani made this tour an enriching experience. The cab service ensured that my journey was comfortable, and the accommodations were cozy and well-located. Overall, this tour to Odisha was a fantastic mix of spirituality, nature, and culture. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the best of Odisha! Rakesh's 6 days trip to Odisha

Although I have given 5* for hotels I am not satisfied with hotel the saaj of bhubaneswar. There was a stench in the room. The washroom exhaust was not working. Even after complaining, neither was the exhaust repaired nor was the room changed. Linen wasn't perfect either. services and standard of hotel Koshal of PURI was commandable .

Kailasam's 6 days trip to Odisha

Me and my wife visited Odisha this week. Mr. Shibashish Das helped us with the arrangements. He was kind enough to consider our requests and was patient enough till we could finalise our dates. The hotels in Bhubaneswar and Puri were amazing. The accessibility, food and service were great. The complimentary breakfast spread at both hotels were amazing. Mandasaru was a close to nature experience. The team of ladies at the camp took good care of us. Hospitality of the staff at all the places we stayed was very nice. Our drivers Mr. Suresh and Mr. Manoj were good too and took us sightseeing. We got a very good darshan of Lord Jagannath thanks to the head priest Sagar ji. Overall a good and memorable experience. Will surely recommend the services of Mr. Shibashish and his team. Jai Jagannath!!

We wanted to get Jagganath Puri Darshan along with Konark and Chilka Lake and contacted Travel Triangle with our requirements. The tour package was customized as per our expectations. The Inde D Voyage Travel Co-ordinator Mr Shibashis was always available to answer our queries. The Vehicle provided was excellent, driver Mr Kathua was amazing, Hotel stay was very good in both Bhubaneswar and in Puri. In both places the tie-up with priests in Lingaraja temple and Jaganath puri led to a very calm, peaceful and amazing darshan for our parents. Would 100% recommend this Travel agency.

Ranjitha's 6 days trip to Odisha

Overall trip was 5 days and first 3 days was really good . Both Satkosia and Bhubaneswar resort and hotel was awesome .Food in both these places was also very good .However things changed when we went to Puri . Naren palace hotel was pathetic and service was very poor . Food served in the restaurant was bad and few of the family members fell sick . Cab allotted was ertiga but triber was sent . It was compact as not comfortable . PR travels contact was helpful but there was communication gap between them and cab driver . most places we had to put google maps as driver was not aware of the destination . Bubhaneshwar city is very well improved and was clean . Temples here are really beautiful .

Nicks's 4 days trip to Odisha

Firstly driver assigned was not having much understanding of Hindi & English language. This created kind of communication gap. There was 1 instance where driver dropped us at Puri beach, and call was not picked by him for 10-15 mins when we planned to leave beach, making us to hire Auto to reach hotel back. 2nd instance happened in Bhubaneswar, when we planned to go for shopping around 5 PM. When we went down, cab was not there & he said it will take 30 min for him to reach as he is somewhere else, which again made us to hire Auto to reach market. Atleast driver should have communicated if he want to go anywhere & if we have any plan to visit any place. If we have paid for cab service, these things should not have happened. Overall, not happy with can service.

Suphlay's 5 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

During our entire duration of the trip we had stay in 3 different hotels. On our 1st day of the trip in Puri when we went for check-in in the 1st hotel Blue Lily Beach Resort, it turned out that hotel pool was under maintenance/reconstruction and the hotel manager lied that dues to a 'brawl' which happed few nights back the pool tiles were broken. We checked out the rooms and it was not at all for for being called a 3 start property. We refused the check-in and asked the travel agent to change our stay, to save time we suggested a hotel closer to the beach, ଗୋଲ୍ଡେନ ଟ୍ରି Golden Tree, as a result we had to pay some more than earlier quoted. This was a great pick for us, best of all 3 we stayed in during the trip. From Puri we went to Daringbari where the hotel booked for us, The Snow Creek, was the worst. The floor tiles in rooms and bathroom were broken and loose, walls were damp and showing signs of water seepage. They were even refusing to provide separate toilet and bathing soap. The complementary breakfast portion size was so small that it was fit for a 10yr old, it was like theye were trying to save as much as possible when it came to provide any service. Probably in order to keep their wifi bills down they didn't provided password during check-in and we got it only few hours before check-out. Our last stay was at Hotel Shubham Grand, Bhubaneswar. This was okayish, rooms were spacious and complementary breakfast was good but nothing more to brag about. The star of the trip was our driver Anil bhaiya, great and chill person was very courteous and accommodating to our requests.

Shekar's 4 days trip to Odisha

Overall booking experience via travel triangle was good. Shibashis Das from Inde D Voyage helped us right itinerary for 3N/4D. Hotel "Golden Tree" at Puri was excellent with right ambiance and food varieties (breakfast was good) we enjoyed 2 nights stay at beach side. All staff members were well behaved and very supportive. Hotel "Vits bhubaneswar" was below average, I think renovation work was going on. 3rd floor lobby & rooms were stinking I never seen start hotel having Geyser in the bathroom hot water is available for limited. Dinner they served were horrible (full of green chilis in all the dishes) we escalated to chef and gave feedback. Anyhow they complimented with fruits bowl for free as we returned the dinner back. Worst part in spite of all these things they charged us bill for dinner, so ZERO star. Breakfast was good. Innova car was clear and good, but worst experience was driver (Sanatan Mohanty). Entire trip he was so lousy and dis-interested in this trip. He never came on time always made us to wait, he prefers us to come where his car parked rather than coming and picking us from venue (I travelled with my parents). He always kept on yawing, almost sleepy and disinterested to drive, this happened for all 4days. He took us lousy & average restaurants for breakfast & lunch. If asked for better places he says car doesn't go nearer to hotel the good hotel as roads are small . He was not flexible in the itinerary, no suggestions came from his side to utilize best travel time. His driving was horrible on highways he drives as 60kms/hr speed and in small roads tries to drive at 80kms/hr speed. He doesn't understand English or Hindi properly or may be he was pretending. We lost lots of time in traveling in his car. This is first trip I had very bad experience with driver. Negative Star... Next time if I choose TravelTrainagle I need to find out option how evaluate the drivers assigned before I accept the trips. We pay additional fees to get best services from TravelTrainagle, so request TT to see option how to evaluate the driver.

Chitra's 5 days trip to Odisha

Our trip to Odisha was well organised by 'Odisha Voyages' . The stay at Puri at Toshali Sands Cottages was an exemplary experience. The ambience of the resort is unparalleled. They serve a good breakfast with plenty of choices. The staff are also courteous and helpful. The stay at Bhubaneswar ( Hotel Excellency) was okay okay, nothing exceptional. The driver Rabi was extremely helpful, very courteous and obliging. We would have liked the Innova that was allotted to us to have 3 seats in the second row instead of 2 because when the baggage of all four of us was loaded in the back seat, there was only limited space for the person sitting at the back. If the second row had 3seats, the four of us could have accomodated ourselves easily. Thanks to Mr Sudhir of Odisha travels for the arrangements and prompt communication he maintained with us. Thanks to M/s Sushree also for welcoming us at the airport. Overall, Travel Triangle has done a good job in connecting us to Odisha Voyages, who did their job well. Being able to witness the flags being changed and Aarati at Jagannath temple at 5 o'clock in the evening. Visit to Pipli applique village, Tribal Museum, Khandagiri Udayagiri caves
