How to Reach Ile aux cerfs island in Mauritius

The Ile aux cerfs island in Mauritius is a beautiful privately owned island with a golf course, blue lagoons, and white sand beaches. Tourists can enjoy water sports, sailing, golfing, and sunbathing in this island. The island is well known for its restaurants and water sports.

Tourists can reach Ile aux cerfs by a private catamaran, speedboat, yacht, and even by a helicopter. The boats and catamaran to the Ile aux cerfs are available from the Trou d'Eau Douce area or various other locations at the eastern coast of Mauritius. These services have to be booked by in advance before the journey.

In order to reach the Trou d'Eau Douce area, there are many private taxi services available. These taxis pick up tourists from their hotel and drop them at the Trou d'Eau Douce area. A boat ride of 15 minutes will be needed from Trou d'Eau Douce to reach Ile Aux Cerfs. Local taxis, private cars, or busses can be rented to the Trou d'Eau Douce area.

There are local buses, taxis, and private cars available from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport to the Trou d'Eau Douce area. Helicopter services are also available to the Ile aux cerfs island from the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.

    All is good, but some places we visited was useless like temple as a Muslim we hv nothing to do there. Ship factory has nothing interesting.. they took us to their shop to make us buy stuff... and the tour guide was very quite. He did not explain anything unless I ask.

    We stayed in hotel Solana beach..We cld not get proper Indian veg food.This hotel is not suitable for Indians ,even on order they don't know how to cook Indian dishes..We were to fly to Mauritius on 4th June but just 2 days before our journey when I put my PNR no on airline sight ,it showed our flig
    ht on 6th June and return on 8th. So in the nick of time tour manager got it changed for 6th and 9th.But bcos of this I had to undergo lot of stress and we cld not get direct flight even on one side journey View from hotel was very good.Site seeing on all the three days was very good.Cab drivers were very punctual and courteous
