By Road

Mauritius has a number of options on transport facilities for how to reach tea plantations by road. If a tourist group wishes to travel by bus, one can easily from the different minibusses and Volvo luxuries here.

To avail a minibus for one way tour from Port Louis up to the Bois Chéri. Mauritius has also arranged for another transport facility which is a day tour in a minivan. The cost incurred for one way tour from Port Louis to Bois Chéri is much less than the bus, i.e., 55 Euros and that for a round trip the cost is estimated to be 102 Euros.

Smaller groups of tourists also prefer to travel via cabs. One can either choose a shuttle taxi or can reserve it for the day. The option for renting a private car is also available. A smaller estate car would charge an average of 47 Euros for one way journey and 84 Euros for a round trip from Port Louis to Bois Chéri.
