Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) in New Delhi is the busiest airport in India and Chennai International Airport is the busiest in South India. Coimbatore International Airport (CJB) and Tiruchirappalli International Airport (TRZ) are also served by direct flights from Delhi.

To travel from Delhi to Tamil Nadu by train, travellers can book a berth on Tamil Nadu Sampark Kranti Express, Nizamuddin Chennai Rajdhani Express, Chennai Central Garib Rath, and Tamil Nadu Superfast Express. The distance between New Delhi to Chennai via train is about 2180 kilometres. It may take anywhere between 28 to 40 hours to travel from Delhi to Chennai by train. Make sure to book tickets from IRCTC at least one month before the date of journey. Travellers can also book trains from Delhi to Madurai, Coimbatore, Ramesvaram, and Tiruchirappalli.

Please try to assign a young driver next time. Also, take the full responsibility to pay the amount to the transportation and the resort/hotel next time. Every thing was as it was planned except few challenges. In madurai driver didn’t come to pick up from railway station as it was planned and stated. In tirupati, i need to do personal cab for the drop to railway station, since cab driver stated that his duty is completed and wont drop. The entire trip was planned really well and we were very happy with the arrangements. Our cab and driver was very helpful and he ensured we covered all the locations that are planned. The hotel in Kanakumari and Pondicherry could have been better as the break fast and rooms were not expected , the best arrangement was in Rameswaram and the hotel Arjuna was really good. The only challenge which i see is i did not get the trip invoice requested for claiming my TA and did not get any support from the agent. It would have been a great if i was supported on this front.
