• Gangaur Festival in Jaipur: This is an important festival among the locals of Rajasthan. This festival is celebrated in the memory of Goddess Gauri or Parvati, wife of Lord Shiva. This is basically a festival celebrated by the women of the community. The unmarried women follow the rituals so that they are blessed with a good husband. The married women take part in this festival for the well-being of their husbands and family. This festival is celebrated for eighteen days.
