Stretched across an area of 50 sq km, this is one of the major biodiversity parks in the region. Located on the northern edge of the famous resort Island of Krabi, the national park is a significant tourist attraction. Even though the park is just north of the town, the entrance is located about 27 km away from the town. Famous for its natural wonders, this park has it all – be it waterfalls, caves, trekking trails.
Known to have an abundance of biodiversity, there is a rich presence of flora and fauna inside the national park.

The best time to visit the National Park is during the months from October to March. Although the region receives rainfall all year round, the climate during this time of the year is less sticky and humid due to the coolness of the winters. The park is open every day from 8 am to 4 pm. Give yourself a window of 2-3 hours for a fulfilling visit to the park.

You can reach Khao Phenom Bencha National Park via air, water, and road

By Air: The nearest airport is the Krabi International Airport, you can de-board there and hire a car. Note that there is no pickup and drop facility at the park so you have to make your own arrangements.

By Water: The nearest harbor is located in Krabi, you can always come via there to the national park through the means available.

By Road: Go from Krabi town towards the I-4 road and then turn right to the Uttarakit Road, running beside the river in Krabi Town. Go past the Krabi Airport towards a town called Nuea Klong, make a left up until the only major road and look for the tourism board sign for the National Park.

Bats, frogs, and geckos roam in this cave freely but they aren’t dangerous. This cave is easily accessible and it is recommended that you hire a guide if you wish to go there.
