There are two Buddhist caves, a chaitya hall, and a sizable cluster of stupas in the site’s rock-cut portion. A unique carved stone entrance to the chaitya hall replicates the timber construction, albeit more straightforwardly than the Lomas Rishi Cave.
There are the ruins of two brick vihara and other structural buildings constructed of stone, as well as two levels of dug caverns containing an uncommon structural structure called a chaitya hall (one built above ground). This central feature is a stone stupa surrounded by a path blocked off and used for ceremonial parikrama or circumambulation. With a few later sculptures, they primarily date around 200-0 BCE.
