The historical significance says this is an auspicious place because Beas Rishi from Mahabharata meditated here and wrote the entire epic. It is surrounded by many surreal peaks, including Hanuman Tibba, Ladakhi Peak, Manali Peak, Muker Beh, Sheti Dhar Peak and Friendship Peak, which is quite well known. The treks usually follow a schedule that spans over a fixed number of days, which makes them more adventurous yet keeps their motivation high.
