About the Beas Kund Trek
Manali has always been known for its infamous Beas Kund Trek. The main reason is the picturesque setting and magnificent beauty of nature. Hidden in these grasslands, you can see the river Beas emerging. Nature has perfectly contrasted this with the sight of the mountains and peaks of Pir Panjal, which add to this beauty. The historical significance says this is an auspicious place because Beas Rishi from Mahabharata meditated here and wrote the entire epic. It is surrounded by many surreal peaks, including Hanuman Tibba, Ladakhi Peak, Manali Peak, Muker Beh, Sheti Dhar Peak and Friendship Peak, which is quite well known. The treks usually follow a schedule that spans over a fixed number of days, which makes them more adventurous yet keeps their motivation high.
