The All Saints Church, located in Srinagar is also known as the “All Hallows Church.” It is a historical Protestant church part of the Church of North India, which is a province of the worldwide Angican communion. A Roman Catholic Church, located right at the middle of the city was established in 1886 by the Mill Hill missionaries. It is the main church for the minority Christian community along with the All Saints Anglican Church. The church has seen years of violence committed against the buildings and has managed to survive the test of time through reconstructions and the faith of people. You can witness a new church bell that was installed in 2017 as part of the reconstruction process.

3. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church
The church currently belongs to the Jammu Srinagar Diocese and is located in the Baramulla region. Established in the year 1891, the church is one of the oldest Roman Catholic Churches in Kashmir. It was built by the Mill Hill Missionaries in an attempt to spread the teachings into the local populace. In fact, the church campus also holds the St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s School where Christian families can send their kids or treat themselves.

Another beautiful Roman Catholic Church located in the valley of flowers, is a 20th century architectural marvel. Particularly constructed with grey brick, composed of a green roof and decorated with wooden interior walls, the church is often regarded as a masterpiece of “Victorian Times”. You can clearly get the peaceful vibes, once inside and the church’s history reeks of good occasions of happiness and joy.

A lovely church located in the Leh valley is home to a family who does all the maintenance and takes care of the church. You will get some absolutely amazing views from the church courtyard and would easily spend 3-4 hours without the need to look at your watch. The best part is that the church is located very close to the airport, which means traveling here won’t be that big of a problem. The church performs Holy Mass every Sunday at 10:00 AM. On days, Mass will be conducted in the chapel attached to St. Peters School in Choglamsar, Leh at 7:00 AM.
