The castle is open daily, including Sundays and public holidays, with varying hours depending on the season: 8 am to 6 pm from January to March and November to December, and 8 am to 8 pm from April to October. There are two main train stations near Lake Bled: These are Lesce-Bled Station and Bled Jezero Station. Bled Jezero Station is closer to the Lake, about 1. It is located 5 km from the city, and one can walk, hire a taxi or use the tourist train, especially during the summer season. Trains from Ljubljana to Bled Jezero take about 1-1. 5 hours.
By Bus
There are buses that transport passengers to Lake Bled from Ljubljana’s main bus terminal, and the journey lasts for about 1-1. 5 hours. The main bus station is in the centre of Bled, and it is just 3 minutes walking distance from the lake.
