    Museums In Clementi

    Written by

Clementi has a variety of small shops and stalls that sell various goods. It is close to the Clementi MRT station, which serves the residents and tourists alike. The old Clementi bus line houses a 40-story complex with residential and commercial areas, a public library and a renovated bus station. Ginza Plaza is located a little further away in the center of the city. The area is also home to the NUS (the university). There are a number of museums in Clementi that are worth a visit as well. Clementi was named after Sir Cecil Clementi Smith, who was a noted Chinese scholar and governor from 1887 to 1893. A part of Clementi used to be a wetland, while the rest just had villages, farms, and industries.
