An anniversary getaway can infuse your marriage with a lot of love and warmth. Well-aware of this fact, Murali planned a vacation for 4 days in Bali with his wife and daughter to bring in his 25th wedding anniversary. If you’re planning to go overseas this year, Murali’s travel account will convince you to set off for Bali immediately.
I had been planning to take a family outing for the longest time, and my 25th wedding anniversary seemed like the perfect occasion to turn this plan into reality. I consulted my family on where they wanted to head to, and we mutually decided to go to Bali since we were keen to experience a different Asian culture than ours. Also, the weather in Bali in May is favorable for a trip. Without further delay, we contacted TravelTriangle to discuss our travel plan. The travel agent made every necessary arrangement for our trip to be a success.

Weather In 4 Days In Bali
The weather in Bali in May is pleasant. It is neither too hot nor too cold. The average temperature lies between 25 to 28 degrees celsius. Occasional rains hampered a few of our travel plans, but they didn’t dampen our spirits. A brief spell of rain would cause the temperature to lower a bit. All in all, the good weather accentuated our travel experience.
Our Top Experiences From Our 4 Days In Bali
Here are our top experiences from our 4 days in Bali trip that you can include in your itinerary to enhance your traveling experience. Take a look:
1. Tanah Lot Temple – Seek Blessings
Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. It is located on a cliff and the seawater encircles it when the sea tide rises. It appears to be adrift in the ocean and owns the magnificent view of the sunset in the late afternoon.
2. Barong Kintamani – Sightseeing
The highlight of this activity is the magnificent view of Mount and Lake Batur with the smoky Agung Volcano in the background. En route we stopped at Celuk, the centre of gold and silver works, Mas the centre of woodcarvings, and Ubud the centre of Balinese paintings. Then we proceeded to Kintamani to enjoy the panoramic view of the semi-active volcano, Mount Batur. It was an experience unlike any other.
3. The Adventurer Short Trek
The Adventurer Short Trek scours valley edges and wades at Ayung River’s scenic fringe. Being on the big mammal’s humps surely saved us from getting wet crossing the water, but left us undisturbed to savor the breathtaking green surrounding and surging river streams. What is especially revealing here is the free-polluted air, cleansing and unraveling tense mind.

4. Denpasar City – Take A Tour
We saw the real Balinese urbans with their social life and traditional cultures in Denpasar on our 4 day trip to Bali. The places of interest that you will visit during Denpasar city tour are Badung Traditional Market, which is the traditional market in the center of town. We then proceeded towards Jagatnata Temple, which is a Hindu temple in the centre of the city.
Where To Stay For 4 Days In Bali
I wanted Travel Triangle to book me in 2 different hotels so that my family would have a change of scene in Bali in summer. So, the first 3 nights we stayed at Grand Ixora in Kuta. The property is located in the heart of Kuta. It was in close proximity of malls and money changers. The property is equipped with a pool and a poolside bar. Their complimentary buffet breakfast was elaborate. We had delicious local, continental and European cuisine. We hope our Bali 4 days itinerary helps you plan your stay better.
Food In Bali
We experimented with food at some of the best restaurants in Bali as we are all foodies. Breakfast was complimentary and was served at the hotel. Dinner was complimentary on the first day at an Indian restaurant which was a stone’s throw away from our hotel. The next day we wandered into a local joint and tried street food. For the rest of our stay, we tried different dishes at the place where we stayed. It was, all in all, a pleasant experience on our Bali 3 nights 4 days trip.

Shopping In Bali
We couldn’t shop a lot as we had plenty of activities planned, but we were taken to a few places for shopping in Bali where we purchased the local coffee, artifacts, gift items, and handicrafts. Since we were travelling light (again restriction by the aircraft for paid luggage) we bought tiny souvenirs. Make sure you understand the conversion rate. Do your math quickly so that you don’t get cheated.
Bali Travel Tips
Now that we have shared our experience from our trip to 4 days in Bali, here’s a list of Bali travel tips that I believe will help you vacation like a pro:
1. Plan all your water related activities the same day.
2. Ensure you have enough dollar currencies in case you want to try your hand at all water sports.
3. Make sure you count the money after getting it exchanged because there have been few cases of fraud and cheating.
4. Make sure you take extra clothes and change them in the dressing room before you go white water rafting.
5. If you’re wondering what to pack for Bali trip, let me answer it for you. Make sure you pack summery clothes: light, cotton, loose, and airy garments.
Our Experience With TravelTriangle
The travel agents at TravelTriangle were helpful in suggesting good hotels to stay and they also accommodated my wish that I did not want to stay at the same hotel all 6 nights, so they offered me 3 nights at one place and 3 at a different location, which added value to the vacation that we planned. Our driver was also a very courteous person. All in all, our trip experience of 4 days in Bali with TravelTriangle was satisfactory.
