What should the view from your dream house look like? Do you want to see the Big Ben in London? How bout the Eiffel Tower in Paris or, perhaps, the Statue of Liberty in the New York harbor? Sorry folks! Despite the popular landmarks, your London-Paris-New York (LPNY) have not made it to the list of top 10 most livable cities in The Economist Intelligence Unit’s order of things. But these cities have!
About the Survey
The analysts at The Economist Intelligence Unit studied 140 major cities across the globe and assigned a rating to each city based on over 30 quantitative & qualitative factors. These included, inter alia, health-care, social-religious restrictions, quality of public transport, threat of terror attacks, prevalence of crime, and education. The scores were given on a scale of 1 to 100, the latter being ideal. Based on these scores, the least and the most livable places on the planet were decided.
Let us now have a look at the Economist-listed most livable cities in the world.

Once at the zenith of the livability scale, UK & USA could not contribute to the list of the most livable places in the world. Much can be attributed to the increasing terrorist activities & the civil unrest. So, in case you are planning to move to a new city, try one in Australia or Canada instead.
