We have always been intrigued by mountains, sparkling valleys, and forests; and it occurred to us that which place better than Nepal to experience the beauty of all these places. Right? After all, it has the world’s highest mountains and abundant natural beauty. We have also been fascinated by the culture, history, and architecture of Nepal especially about the living goddesses so just wanted to catch a glimpse of this rich culture from a first-hand view. We decided to go on New year’s eve because that is a jolly time to get away and celebrate on a vacation and thus, as we started planning our trip, we got in touch with Travel Triangle and soon they proposed the 6 days trip to Nepal from Mumbai. We couldn’t be more enthralled!

Nepal Weather
We chose to visit Nepal on New Year’ eve and the weather in Nepal in December was really pleasant and soothing with days being bright and clear and nights being cozy and cold. The sky was mostly clear allowing us to see the mountains clearly. The weather was just perfect to taste the warm bowls of the local cuisine of Nepal.
Top Experiences Of Our Trip
We wanted to make the most out of our trip so we went around exploring the top attractions in Nepal. Here are some of the details of our trip.
1. Mount Everest
We took a mountain flight to Mount Everest and seeing the mesmerizing and gigantic mountains was a dream come true for us. During the flight, the pilot let us go inside the cockpit and experience the view which was breathtaking.

This resort was located in Chitwan and was really beautiful. All the facilities were provided and the hotel was in the vicinity of Main Street and the river. The hotel arranged many activities at the Chitwan National Park for us.

How To Reach Nepal
Since we are both from Mumbai, planning the journey was pretty easy as we took a direct flight from Mumbai to Nepal. The journey was relaxing and did not cause much fatigue.
Our Budget For The Trip
Our budget varied between INR 15000 to 20000 for two people as we toured around the place and tried new cuisines and also indulged in a bit of shopping.
Shopping In Nepal
There are many shopping places in Nepal for everyone to explore! We enjoyed shopping in Nepal as the items were really unique and inexpensive at Thamel Street, and at the Durbar Square in Pokhara. We hoarded a lot of winter wear and beautiful artifacts which we got at really cheap prices. We love exploring the art of a new place and so, we also bought a few paintings and pieces of art that were handmade.
Nepal Food
First, we visited the Fahrenite Pub on New Year’s Eve in Kathmandu where we enjoyed the delicious turkey accompanied by music and dancing. At the Himalayan Rooftop in Thamel which is one of the best places to eat in Nepal, we tasted the famous momos of Nepal and the exquisite local beer whilst we enjoyed the live orchestra. The street food in Nepal is really tasty and must be tried by all.
What To Pack For 6 Days Nepal Trip
- Winter wears and cozy thermals must be packed.
- You must carry snacks with you in case there is no shop open for eateries.
