Since Talpona Beach is largely an isolated beach, it offers a perfect balance between the quiet and the hustle of tourists. Still, there are a few activities here to keep you engaged. Take a long walk on the wide expanse of theBeach. Explore a small walkway that is right on the face of the beach, which passes through the rocks at the northern end of the beach. Visit the nearby confluence of Talpona river with the Arabian Sea at the Talpona Jetty. If you are a hiking lover, there is a small hike on the rocks near the Beach, which will welcome you with a panoramic view of the azure waters of the Arabian Sea, the Talpona River, the colourful boats, blue skies, the horizon, lush greenery and amazing Sunrise and Sunset views.

Watching the marine life  is also an engaging activity for you and your family. In the southern section of the beach, which is majorly free of rock and has a large sandy area, is the breeding site of Olive Ridley Turtles. These turtles, termed endangered in India, come to nest and lay their eggs in this part of Goa. They visit every year between the months of October and April. You can see them with caution and from a distance at Talpona Beach. However, not much tourist activity is allowed in the area since the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority declared the area “silence zones”. Sitting on the bank of Talpona Beach in the evening, you will see the fishing boats returning with their catch of the day. You can choose to swim and play in the waters of the beach as it is quite safe for swimming. However, we will advise you to be watchful of rocks lying deep in the bottom of the sands at the beach, which may be sharp enough to poke your skin. Due to these rocks, Talpona Beach has very little water. There is a chance of kayaking available here. Near the beach, towards the road, there are some eateries, yoga studios, shops and hotels.
