As per my wife’s choice, we had decided to go on a romantic Bali vacation for our honeymoon. First Three Days Of Bliss In Kuta
Life is all that happens when you’re planning something else, and we experienced the same on the first day when we arrived in Bali. We were quite taken aback and tensed as our baggage didn’t arrive on time. However, the airline officials assured us that the baggage would be delivered to the hotel in a matter of 6 hours, and it was done accordingly.
Upon our arrival there was a representative of the agent named Veera who was waiting for us at the airport. He further arranged our transfer to the airport, and on reaching the destination, we checked-in at the prebooked Grand Kesambi Resort. It was a great property with a romantic ambience, and all the modern facilities. It finally began to seem as if our romantic Bali vacation was unraveling its surprises.
The breakfast was great and it was a leisure day for us. While the hotel staff was very polite, helpful, and welcoming, we enjoyed the rest of the day by the pool, and revived our energies for the next day. On the second day, we both were all excited to indulge in the thrills of the watersports.
Cruise in Bali: Explore The Island Like Royalty
Our representative Veera made sure that all the watersport activities were arranged prior to our arrival and he was always on time. His punctuality was worth appreciating as he was never late even by a minute. Later on, we went to the Nusa Dua Beach where we enjoyed sea walking, parasailing, banana boat ride, jet skiing, and flying fish.
We enjoyed all the activities however, the experience of sea walking and fly fish was really awesome. We were literally awe-struck and our minds literally stopped while experiencing these watersport activities. Our excitement and experience was so amazing that it cannot be expressed in words.
Later on, we went to visit the Uluwatu temple in the evening and we must say, that it is one of beautiful places we have even seen till date. However, the experience with the monkeys was not great as my wife lost her Ray Ban glasses at the hands of not-so-friendly monkeys. Later, we returned to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Our third day started with a visit to the local markets of silver and gold jewelry, wood carving etc in Kuta. Post that, we went on our tour to the famous volcanic mountain of Kintamani which is indeed one of the fascinating places to visit in Bali. We truly relished the surreal vistas of the white clouds over the black-green mountains amidst the clear blue waters, which was mesmerizing indeed.

Later in the evening, we headed towards the coffee plantation which was an awesome experience to see coffee and cocoa plants. Though the process of making Kopi Luwak coffee was not that comforting, the coffee was fantastic.
They literally served 10 to 15 types of coffees and teas to us and all of them were awesome. Not only coconut coffee became my favorite, we ended up buying 10 packets of coffee to gift to our friends and family members.
Tips For When You’re In Kuta
- Make sure you include your watersports and all the adventure activities in the package itself since it is well-planned and well-managed prior to your arrival.
- Not only does it make such activities easy to enjoy and experience, but also get you a cheaper deal when booked with the package than paying for them on the beach directly.
- Do check the availability of all your favorite activities before you book them. I booked jet skiing, banana boat ride, sea walking, and flying fish, and all of them were worth the money.
- On your visit to the Uluwatu Temple, beware of the monkeys. These monkeys are very aggressive, and try to snatch whatever you’re carrying. So make sure you keep your belongings safe.

Exploring The Surreal Seminyak For The Next Two Days
On the fourth day, we were from Kuta to Seminyak wherein we checked-in at the prebooked Widyas Luxury Villas. We wanted to spend few more days in the silence of Bali which is why we booked this private villa. However, our experience was not upto the expectations.
The experience turned out to be a little disappointing when compared to the Grand Kesambi Resort. While the basic amenities also failed to function, there was also very limited options available for vegetarians. Nonetheless, the dinner cruise experience made up for the whole experience.

We had a great time on the dinner cruise wherein we enjoyed the wide variety of vegetarian food, and overall it was a great evening over the Bali waters. On the fifth day, it was finally time to visit the Tanah Lot Temple. It was a bit crowded but visiting this temple was worth our time, money, and efforts.
Lastly we visited the Monkey Forest. Though the forest walks you through the best of nature and wildlife in Bali, we couldn’t enjoy much here as it was not as per our interests.
On the sixth day we woke up with a bit of nostalgia as it was time to bid adieu to the beautiful Bali. We checked-out of the hotel and soon were on our way to the airport, from where, we set back on a safe return journey with countless memories.

Tips For When You’re In Seminyak
- Plan your holiday in different parts of Bali like few days in Kuta and then some more days may be in Ubud or Seminyak.
- Stay at a resort like the Grand Kesambi which is really a nice resort with a great ambiance. Also, there wouldn’t be any trouble for the vegetarians when it comes to options for food.
- While cruise dinner was a satisfactory experience, you can actually consider an alternative also while booking the package as there is nothing much to do in the night other than enjoying the food.
- Nonetheless, the food options for vegetarians was quite amazing on the cruise. In case you would like to request for some special Indian food, the arrangement for that too can be made prior to your arrival.
- Last but not the least, do not plan a visit to the Monkey forest unless you’re a nature or a wildlife enthusiast. There are a lot of monkeys and it will be a better choice to consider alternatives when it comes to Monkey Forest.
