The history of this park is that it was established in 1974 in the area of Navlakha of Indore. Initially, it was spread over 17 acres of land, but in 1999, the zoo area was expanded again, and now it covers 32 acres of land, which was the Quadibag land. Now, the whole zoo is spread over 46 acres of land. In 2017, it became the first intelligent zoo in India by adopting advanced technologies.
