    Peranakan Museum in Singapore

    The MRT station gets its name from the City Hall building, a national monument in the downtown district core of Singapore. The building was gazetted in 1992 and before that, it was known as the Municipal Building. it was originally constructed by the architects of the municipal government in 1922.
