Juggling between our destination options for the kind of honeymoon experience we wanted, we finally decided upon Bali for all that it was promising.
The trouble we now faced was – booking a honeymoon package within our budget that also allowed us to relish the many luxuries this tropical paradise offered. Yup, budget and luxury at the same time! But don’t worry, we didn’t have to look very far. As soon as we typed ‘budget Bali honeymoon packages’ in Google and TravelTriangle came up as the very first option, we knew we were on the right track. Even Google seemed to know what we wanted!
We created a trip request on their website and Voila! We were receiving calls from different travel agents within a few hours where the promises of each appeared better than the others. After careful speculation, we closed the deal with Galaxy Travels who helped us make the required customisations at ease. Soon, we were joyously packing away for our adventure in an entirely different land!
Here’s A Snippet Of Our 7 Days Honeymoon Trip To Bali
Day 1: Arrival in Bali
We had started from Delhi and had a connecting flight from Kuala Lumpur to Bali. Once we landed at the airport and had completed all the immigration formalities, we were greeted by our driver-cum-guide outside who welcomed us to his humble home with a warm smile.
He escorted us to our hotel Park Regis Kuta in Bali, our abode for this 6 nights honeymoon trip to Bali, where we freshened up and rested in our rooms.

Day 2: Romantic Poolside Dinner
Post a hearty breakfast in the morning, we proceeded for our Kintamani tour, that provided us with a deep insight into Bali’s natural, cultural, and artistic aspects. In the artisan villages of Celuk, Mas, and Ubud, we learned about Balinese gold and silver jewelry, wood carvings, and art paintings, apart from buying ourselves some knick-knacks of the same. We drove past rural villages watching Balinese people dressed up in queer Balinese clothes and going about their day-to-day activities. We saw vast areas of beautifully terraced rice fields in Tegallalang after which we proceeded to the coffee plantations where we witnessed the entire process of coffee making.
The mountain of Kintamani seemed to simply wash away all our worries. The cool breeze was more of an energy that soothed our senses. We gazed at the breathtaking vistas of the still-active Mount Batur and its crater-lake for some time, while the sky painted beautiful hues on the horizon. While returning to the hotel, we stopped by traditional Balinese house to admire its unique building layout honouring the Tri Hita Karana – the three Balinese basic principles of living in harmony with the environment.
The hotel had made preparations for a romantic dinner by the poolside, which turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience. On returning to our room, we saw that even our bed had been decorated with flowers and that just added to the beauty of our romantic Bali honeymoon.
Day 3: Watersports, Sunset, & Spa
After breakfast, we headed to the Prama Sanur Beach for the activities planned for this day of our Bali honeymoon trip.
We indulged in various watersports included in our itinerary, the likes of which included a banana boat ride, jetskiing, and parasailing. After an eventful day at this beautiful beach, we returned to the hotel at 2 PM.
Post a delicious lunch and some rest, we left for Tanah Lot to witness an amazing sunset. And true to its word, it’s didn’t disappoint us! Once back at the hotel in the evening, we indulged in a 1-hour Dewata Couple Massage therapy at our hotel, the most rejuvenating and calming thing to mark an end to ur enjoyable, yet tiring day.

Day 4: A Day On Gili Island
We checked out from Park Regis Kuta after a sumptuous breakfast and reached Gili Island at 1 PM, the next stop of our 7 days honeymoon in Bali. We checked into our hotel – Ombak Sunset Hotel on Gili Trawangan which is an attraction in itself owing to its fascinating beach. After freshening up, we enjoyed some time at the pool and then spent the evening gazing at a beautiful sunset while swinging like children on Gili’s famous Sea Swing!

Day 5: Leisurely Stay At Private Pool Villa
Post a lavish breakfast, we completed our check-out formalities and headed to Marbella Pool Suites Seminyak, one of the best private pool villas in Bali and a grand addition to the list of accommodations on our honeymoon trip to Bali. We had been looking forward to our stay here since we had set foot in Indonesia. We reached the premises at about 2:30 PM and spent the entire day lazying about in the villa, indulging in all the leisurely and luxury services it had to offer! True to its word, it delivered more than it had promised!
Day 6: 3D Art Gallery & A Romantic Cruise Dinner
We were served a lavish spread of breakfast in the morning, after which we proceeded for the day’s activities. At 10 AM, we first headed to the popular Dream Museum Zone (3D Art Gallery), which is one of the best places to visit in Bali. The museum is an ecstasy! In fact, with the amount of fun and mind boggling interactive exhibits it has for tourists, we don’t know if it should just be called a museum!
At about 4 PM, we proceeded for the Bounty Cruise – a sunset dinner cruise experience. There’s no better way to add some tropical thrill in your honeymoon trip to Bali than on this fabulous cruise brimming with festivities. We witnessed a traditional Balinese Dance, live music performance, a Comedy Cabaret Show, and various other entertainment tidbits while cruising along the harbor and sipping a drink on the open-air top deck.
Later, we enjoyed a lavish dinner of noodles and fried rice by the open air deck that gave us mesmerising views of the sunset as well as loads of time to talk and share merry stories of our lives! The experience was incomparable! After a joyful cruise ride, we returned to our private pool villa.
