By Train- Coimbatore Junction is a central railway station connected to various cities across India. Various public and private modes of transport can be used to reach the Velliangiri Hills from the railway station.
By Road- The most convenient option is to hire a taxi from Coimbatore to the Velliangiri Hills. The journey takes about an hour. There are regular buses from Coimbatore to Poondi, the village at the base of the Velliangiri Hills. You can take a bus from the Coimbatore Central Bus Stand or the Gandhi Puram Bus Stand.
