1. Oasis Water park
This park, set in a sprawling area of seven acres, is touted to be one of the best in all of USA! Apart from the water park, there are six resort pools too for adventure seekers. Get a taste of the tropics in the Arizona desert, while you lounge around in the Oasis Wave Pool. This one is a hit among toddlers too! If you are looking for high-octane thrill, experience the eight-story slides, including the 225-foot free fall and 220-foot Roadrunner. There are also some other fun rides that go by the name of Zuni River and Wild Cat! The resort fee is inclusive of free Wi-Fi and four waterpark wristbands.

2. Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix
Kids are going to have a gala time; the dizzying variety of rides here makes you spoilt for choice! The water slides are thrilling to say the least, so don’t forget to get on the Serpentine Complex. There are also others that offer great adventure, including the Constrictor, Maximum Velocity, Tornado and Phoenix Flyers – the names say it all! For the little ones, there’s Wet ‘n’ Wild Junior, so there’s enough and more for them to splash!

3. Big Surf
The next water park, Big Surf, is one of the best for wave pools. Oh boy, just look at its size – it is the largest with 2.5 million gallons of water! For kids, there are joy rides like Tipping Tree Frogs, Otter Slides, and more. The older kids who are looking for some adrenaline rush can experience the Hurricane slides; it surely stirs you up! 4. Golfland Sunsplash

If your height is lower than 48”, you will be asked to wear life vests for protection. Your adrenaline will go sky-rocketing on the Double Dare, Thunder Falls, Stormrider and the Sidewinder! Younger kids can have a good time on the Caribbean Water Works that has a zero-depth play area and a giant tipping bucket. Towards the Golfland side, there are some other fun games too. 5. Pointe Hilton, Squaw Peak Resort
Set amidst the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, covering an area of 27 acres, this one can’t be missed out. After all, there are four acres of pools with lazy river tubing and water slides! What’s more? The 18-hole miniature golf course winds around this river, so you can visualise the sight! The architecture here is to die, with a great blend of Spanish Mediterranean elements incorporated! Don’t forget to have a good meal here at the three restaurants in the resort or grab a cone at the ice-cream parlour! 6. Kiwanis Wave Pool Phoenix
The Kiwanis Wave Pool Phoenix has an indoor wave pool which is 122 feet long and 16 feet high! It generates waves around up to 3 feet, so one can learn boogie board riding or body surfing. The temperature of the water is comfortable and can be used for swimming training as well, in their 6-lap pool. It’s a treat for kids looking to have some summer fun even in winter!
