1. Wat Suan Dok

This temple is as old as somebody living in the year 1371. It is one of the twin temples which are said to have some history. You will find here two images of Lord Buddha in the main viharn. The other typical features of a Buddhist temple are also present, like chedi, and small vihar. This temple adorns the northern campus of the Maha Chulalongkorn university.

2. Wat Chiang Man
This is one of the very oldest temples of the region. It is located on the ratchaphakhinai road which is near to the Chang Puak gate in the old city. One could spot a temple library to the south of the chedi.

3. Wat Chedi Luang

The tallest structures, gum trees welcome you in an altogether different setting. The architecture of the temple is an interesting feature to look for as there are structures made up of elephants, captivating tall structures of chedi, the bell tower and stairs with nagas on it.

4. Wat Lok Molee

5. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

6. Wat Phra Singh

7. Wat Umong

It is temple in which the image of Lord Buddha is located while you go inside a tunnel. The word Umong in Thai means a tunnel. It is again one of the oldest temples of the city located at 135 moo 10 suthep.
