The Dunagiri temple, located at an elevation of 8,000 feet, is dedicated to the goddess Durga and is also called Devi or Shakti. It is located at the top of Drona Mountain in Uttarakhand. Dunagiri is believed to be a part of the mountain that fell when Hanuman Ji was carrying the mountain for Laxman, and since then, it has been known as Dunagiri.
