It was time. We are friends but because of the monotony of life it’s difficult to catch up, so we decided to take this trip and explore nature together and reconnect and rewind. We are admirers of nature and love places with snow-capped peaks and captivating views. Having already visited Gangtok and Manali, Ladakh seemed like the best destination for this trip and we did not give it a second thought. Besides that, we came across many beautiful pictures of Ladakh on social media and when we checked Ladakh’s weather in April we just said Ladakh is on!

We took a tour of the city and explored many of the popular attractions including Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam and more. We loved Sangam where the gushing Zanskar river seemed extremely captivating. The ‘Hall of Fame’ made us feel proud of being Indians. At Gurudwara Pathar Sahib we felt very spiritually moved and loved the experience. The city is very beautiful and the landscape of Ladakh is captivating. We actually felt that when we roamed around.

2. Exploring Nubra Valley

TurTuk Village is the last village in India and we had the most delightful experience here and which made our Ladakh travel in summer a great experience. Approximately 115 kilometers away from Nubra Valley, the exotic TurTuk Village with a population of just 4000 is a must visit for everyone visiting Ladakh. This village was under Pakistan occupied Kashmir even till forty years back and the people here communicate in Baltistan language. The beautiful village with its warm and welcoming people was all in all a great experience and something we loved.
