The upcoming Mediterranean cruise liner, MSC Bellissima, will make your voyage more luxurious with the introduction of digital personal cruise assistant. This assistant will be directly dealing with the passengers and the concept pretty similar to Amazon’s Alexa. You will be able to receive tailor-made suggestions according to your preferences; all thanks to its voice-enabled Artificial Intelligence.
Whether you want to play music of your favorite genre or wish to know about the schedules onboard, this virtual assistance will be there to help. The cruise-liner’s authorities partnered with Harman International of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd, in order to provide ship-based solutions meant especially for the guests. This makes MSC’s system stand out, as the general virtual assistants work on cloud-based programs. Being that said, you can obviously set the language of your choice, such as Mandarin, German, English, French, Brazilian and Spanish.
This feature is expected to be launched from March 2, 2019 and will later be added to MSC’s other cruises. In fact, this is not all! The virtual assistance is just a part of the MSC for Me digital innovation program, which will also feature mobile interactive information screens as well as in-cabin connected televisions. Beside the digital factor, there will be a Grand Canyon themed aqua park, 2 new dining concepts and 2 Cirque du Soleil shows.
The 1034-foot long MSC Bellissima is currently under construction. The cruise will have 10 restaurants. 20 bars and a bowling alley for all the fun aboard.
