  • Don’t touch the artwork while exploring the gallery, because even hands can cause damage.
    Food and beverages can only be consumed at restaurants present within the boundaries of the gallery. No outside food is allowed inside the premises.
  • There is no specific dress code for the gallery, but it is advised to bring along something warm as the gallery is climate controlled.
  • For the safety of the artworks, it is advised to keep bulky bags and luggages in the locker of the security room.
  • Flash photography and videography is not allowed inside the gallery. Alongside use of selfie sticks is also not allowed.
  • While inside the gallery, make sure to speak softly and avoid talking over phone. Maintain the silence while exploring the art gallery.

By Bus: For the people who are planning to travel by bus, there are two gateways to enter the national gallery. The first one is the Coleman street entrance while the other one is the Padang Atrium entrance.

By MRT: If you’re taking the train then to reach the gallery the nearest MRT station is the City Hall MRT.

By Taxi/Car: One of the easiest way to reach the gallery is to take a taxi or car from your location and drop off at the Coleman Street entrance.
