Located in the Ajman Fort, Ajman Museum was earlier a fort used as a defence for the city, which was converted into a museum in 1981. The fort welcomes the visitors with a grand gateway, guarded by two canons, two windtowers, and two watchtowers. The ancient Arab architecture of the museum exhibits a wide range of manuscripts, pearling & fishing tools, jewellery, clay jars, weapons, and other archaeological items. The black and white pictures of the museum from the early 20th century are also on display. Owned and maintained by the Emirati businessman Majid Al Futtaim, Ajman City Centre is the largest mall that serves as one of the perfect family outing places in Ajman.
