Located in the Ajman Fort, Ajman Museum was earlier a fort used as a defence for the city, which was converted into a museum in 1981. The ancient Arab architecture of the museum exhibits a wide range of manuscripts, pearling & fishing tools, jewellery, clay jars, weapons, and other archaeological items. With an aim to preserve biodiversity, Al Zohra Nature Reserve was established in 2004 on the Northern side of Ajman Creek.
