Sinharaja Forest Reserve is a densely Forest and Biodiversity Reserve in Sri Lanka. It is spread across the Sabaragamuwa Province and the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The best time to visit Sinharaja Forest Reserve is during the months of January to March and August to September. Being a rainforest, this region receives rainfall throughout the year. Visiting Sinharaja Forest Reserve during high monsoon season is not recommended. November and December are the months when the monsoon is at its peak. The routes become muddy and slippery.
