Ram ki Paidi is a series of ghats along the banks of the Saryu River. The riverfront brings along a spectacular landscape, especially during high-tide, lit nights. These ghats serve as a platform for devotees and tourists who come here to take a dip in the river, wishing it would wash away all their sins. It is similar to Har ki Paidi in Haridwar, which is a flight of steps near the Saryu River, Ayodhya where huge crowds of tourists and devotees take a bath in the sacred waters of the ancient river. The original steps (paidis) were washed away as time went by due to torrential rains and strong river currents.

Ram Ki Paidi are the ghats built at the banks between 1984 and 1985. There are full-size bathing ghats along the river Sarayu and at Nayaghat as well, which have now disappeared due to extreme rainfall. Water within the steps is being removed from Sarayu and taken through Motor Pumps. If you are visiting the city of Ayodhya, then it will be incomplete without taking a view of the Saryu River.
The serene ghats, boating, aarti at night, and sunset and sunrise views are must-watches and should be experienced right then and there. The Saryu River is considered holy and is worshipped like a goddess, too.

Ram ki Paidi Location And Timings

It is located around 3 km from Ayodhya Junction along the river Saryu. It is one of several ghats along the banks of the holy river and among the top sightseeing attractions in the city. Ram ki Paidi is a series of paid or steps on Nayaghat where tourists and devotees take a dip in the holy waters. A new ghat with the paidis or steps was built by the joint effort of the then Chief Minister of UP and the irrigation minister between 1984 and 1985.
It is open 24 hours, all day, for visitors and tourists. The evening Arti at Ram Ki Paidi starts at around 5 pm to 6 pm. They also organize a laser show in the evening at around 7:30 pm.

The ghats provide a fantastic view for anyone who comes here. Boating, aartis and the sparkling water of the Saryu River will have to rest for a minute or two and watch the beauty of the location. The Allahabad Museum is centrally situated in the Civil Lines area of the Ayodhhya in a beautiful garden at Chandrashekhar Azad Park, also known as Company Bagh. In 1863, the Board of Revenue requested constructing a public library and museum. The Allahabad Museum boats of a rich and diverse collection of art, sculptures, antiquities, ceramics, paintings, coins, archaeological objects, farmlands, arm & armours, photographs, natural history specimens, textiles, prints and private collections about Gandhi ji, Jawaharlal Nehru and famous personalities from Allahabad.

2. ISKCON Temple
The ISKCON Temple located in Patna, also known as Sri Radha Banke Bihari Ji Mandir, is a beautiful shrine dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is situated in Budh Marg, Patna. It is a 108 ft tall multi-storeyed temple with 84 pillars, spanning over 2 acres. The foundation stone was laid in 1984. The current deities in the temple are Sri Sri Gaur Nitai, Sri Sri Ram Janaki Lakshman, Sri Sri Radha Banke Bihariji and Hanumanji. The walls of the ISKCON temple in Patna are decorated with ethereal carvings and pretty embellishments that display the different aspects of the life of Shri Krishna.
The divine air of the central hall, filled with the musical chants of ” Hare Krishna Hare Rama,” attracts a massive crowd. The aarti is performed in the early morning at 4:30 a.m., followed by many spiritual addresses for pilgrims that are also regularly organized. Inside the premises, you can also find an auditorium, a meditation and spiritual centre, a restaurant, halls, and a guest house.

3. Lucknow State Museum

The State Museum in Lucknow is a prominent museum in the capital of Uttar Pradesh. It is located in the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Gardens in Banarasi Bagh. The museum was built in 1863 and was given the rank of ‘Provincial Museum’, after which it was renamed the ‘State Museum’ in 1950.
The museum’s collection comprised many artefacts and objects from the prehistoric period, famous figurines from the Indus Valley Civilization and Bronze Age, and a substantial collection of paintings, textiles, manuscripts, and numismatics.
