Sprawling over 1200 hectares of tea gardens, BOH is one of the largest and most popular tea plantations in Malaysia. The name was derived from ‘Bohea’, the hills of the Fujian Province in the country. BOH Tea Plantation is carrying the legacy of producing one of the finest qualities of tea, since 1929 and is reputed as one of the prestigious integrated tea companies in the world which cultivates, processes, packs and markets its own brand of authentic tea varieties. Enjoy the surreal view of the rolling terrain and also participate in the engaging factory tour before relishing exclusive tea varieties at the souvenir shop.

How to reach BOH Tea Plantation: This tea estate is located mid-way between Town Brinchang and Gunung Brinchang. It is 203 kms from Kuala Lumpur and takes about 3 hours to reach. If you are driving, take the Hill Lane near Ee Feng Gu Honey Bee Farm in Brinchang and reach the plantation.

Owned by a business-class family of Uttar Pradesh, Cameron Tea Plantation is operational since 1933 and is the second largest tea plantation in Malaysia. Other than appreciating the stunning nature, all around, one can visit the souvenir shop, and relish with a cup of exotic variety of highland tea with tea cakes, scones with cream and strawberry jam. This is one of the best tea plantations in Malaysia, that treats all its visitors with jaw dropping view of the garden and a stream, flowing by the foothill.

Opening hours: 8:30 am to 6 pm. On weekends the tea garden opens at 8 am and closes at 7 pm.

How to reach Cameron Tea Plantation: Cameron Tea Plantation is about 200 kms from Kuala Lumpur and can be reached in about 3 hours. Drive up to Tanah Rata and hire a private cab to travel about 4 kms to reach Cameron Tea estates.

3. Gaharu Tea Valley – An organic tea farm
