Vistara airlines has received it’s second wide-body aircraft – the B787-9 this week. The airlines had received the first one back in February. The B787 – 9 model is more wide and therefore, can carry more passengers than Vistara’s already existing aircraft. Much of Vistara’s fleet of 43 is composed of the narrow body A320 Neo and B737-800NG. The need for a wide aircraft has emerged as a result of the demand for travel and transfer of citizens between the two countries. Since, much of the international travel was shut due to the coronavirus pandemic, this is welcome news for the aviation sector.
