Did you want to float around in the spacecraft when you saw Howard Wolowitz do the same in Big Bang Theory? Worry not, for your wish has been granted. No, no one’s sending you to space, but you can still fly around from one spot to another like Superman, all thanks to this new wondrous invention by the United States. Welcome ‘Zero-G’ – the zero gravity flight that gives travelers a chance to take a 12-city tour of the US! Don’t believe us? Scan through this piece to know all about how, when, and where!

An experience that was once only possible at an International Space Station, Zero-G gives those who seek adventure a chance to feel zero gravity in a certified plane. A certain Boeing 727 has been renamed as G-Force One after getting modified with zero gravity cabins. The travelers are given flight suits that let them experience 15 periods of weightlessness, allowing them to float around, and take a city tour of the United States.

The zero gravity flight schedule of G-Force One covers the following cities – Houston, Seattle, Texas, New England, Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Florida, Austin, and Orlando.

In order to achieve zero gravity on earth, the pilot of this flight performs a Parabola which is an acrobatic aerial operation. There is a lot of science and technicalities that are used to achieve this kind of experience. The tour commences from McCarran International Airport of Las Vegas. The flight hovers at around 32000 ft above the ground where the parabola is performed and zero-gravity is felt.

Unlike other flights, this particular one has one impeccable experience latched to itself, and hence, costs a fortune. The capacity of one zero-gravity flight is around 34 seats. For a single-seat, the travelers will have to spend around INR 3,85,000 ($5400) which will not only include a seat but also two meals and professional photographs. The entire ride is for about 8 minutes and offers an experience of a lifetime.
