February was the perfect time to plan a domestic trip and we could not think of a better option than Shimla since we had not explored this place before. We heard a lot about Shimla, the Mall Road, cafes, churches, book shops, and everything else. We wanted to witness it ourselves so our destination was decided. Weather In Shimla In February
We did the research before heading to Shimla, so we were expecting cold weather with chances of snowfall. Both of us were excited to witness snowfall in Shimla or Kufri. It did rain for two days which led to a further drop in the temperature. We got lucky to see snowfall in Kufri which added the fun element to the trip as we got to indulge in more activities. There is no doubt in the fact that February is a good time to explore Shimla and it is safe to visit in this month.
Experiences On Our Shimla Trip
Since it was a short tour, we decided to both explore and relax on our 4 days couple trip to Shimla. So, we explored famous tourist spots in Shimla as well as reserved a day for us to relax, unwind, and admire the beauty of the place.
1. Mall Road: Took A Stroll Around This Place
As we all know that Mall Road is the main tourist place in Shimla so our first stop has to be that only. So, we went to Shimla’s Mall Road where we explored the Ridge, Christ Church, Lakkar Bazaar, bookshops as well as cafes. This is the best place to get a bird’s eye view of the whole city in one glance. Later, we tried different street foods and had a proper dinner that ended the day on a good note.
2. Kufri: The Magical Place
If you are wondering what to do in Shimla for 4 days, then we have the perfect answer to that – head to Kufri. This is the place where we got to witness snowfall so we decided to indulge in some activities. It was the best day of our whole trip. Food We Devoured In Shimla
As a trip to any place remains incomplete without food we also grabbed every chance to try street food. Not only the food was delicious and lip-smacking, they also left us wanting for more. We explored and found The Que Cafe which had a cool ambiance as well as the food. Later, we had dinner at a dhaba on the Mall Road where we were served with the best dal makhni ever.
