To get to Ao Thian, you can always hop on to a ferry to Ao Wong Deuan and further walk south over the headland.

2. Ao Wai Beach
A lovely beach only 1.5km away from Ao Thian, mostly remains lonely and secluded but one can surely feel the calm and serenity the place has to offer. Perfect for an evening chill.
3. Hat Sai Kaew Beach
Also known as the “town beach”, Hat Sai Kaew is the island’s widest and most populated beach. It nests in the northeastern corner of the island where the ferry pier is located. Restaurants, shacks, jet skis, etc. fill up most of the place of this beach with tourists all the time. The fire show which takes place at 8:30pm near the “Ploy Talay Restaurant” is a a massive crowd puller.

4. Khao Laem Ya National Park
Nesting in the western part of the island, Khao Laem Ya/Mu Koh Samet is the the National Park of Koh Samet. It consists of Koh Man Klang, Koh Kudee, Koh Man Nok, Koh Man Nai. This place has pretty freshwater sites perfect for hiking. One can get here via a boat tour of Koh Samet.
5. Ao Wong Deuan Beach
This beach clearly gets its name from the shape; the name of the beach means “crescent moon bay”. This beach is also pretty much populated with restaurants, hotels and tourists. Ferries run in this beach and the colour of sand is white.

6. Ao Hin Khok & Ao Phai Beaches
These beaches lie to the south of Hat Sai Kaew. Separated by rocky headlands, Ao Hin Khok and Ao Phai are two secluded and serene bays of the island. A younger generation of people visit this place than that of the other beaches. These beaches are the haunts of backpackers and camp lovers.
7. Ao Phutsa Beach
Also goes with the name of, “Ao Tubtim”, this beach is located to the south of Ao Hin Khok. This beach isn’t generally crowded, which adds to the beauty of it. Mostly craved for its early morning sunrise views, this beach will leave you in awe.

8. Ao Prao Beach
Ao Prao nests on the western coast of the island. This beach is secluded but also has three of the best resorts to offer. 9. Ao Kiu Na Nok Beach
Nesting in the southern tip of the island, Ao Kiu Na Nok has complete isolation to offer. It can be reached via a boat ride from Ban Phe.
