This temple is 10 km away from Mathura. The name Vrindavan is from the name of devi ‘Brinda’, which is also known as ‘tulsi’. This is the same place where Sri Radha and Sri Krishna spent most of their childhood time and performed various ‘Leela’. On Basant Panchami, a big festival is held in this temple. The Temple is open from 4 am to 12 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm. Devotees come and pray for their wishes to come true. The temple holds a special place in the hearts of its devotees.

Taj Mahal, located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is one of the seven wonders of the world, with thousands of tourists visiting this place every year. This palace is built in the memory of Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz. This was built in 1631. This palace is a huge example of Mughal architecture. There is the Mumtaz Mahal and various Shahjahan mahals inside. The main tomb has a mosque, a guest house, and several other gardens. The area acquired to construct this palace was 42 acres. When Mumtaz died while giving birth, Shahjahan, out of his love for her, built this palace. This palace is proof of their love story. The architecture of this palace is marble, with even small details being beautifully designed, which was an amusement for those times. The Mahal is closed only on Fridays.

2. Agra Fort

Agra Fort, located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is also known as Agra’s Red Fort. It is built on the banks of the Yamuna River. This is a historical fort built by a Mughal emperor in 1530. This fort was renovated by Akbar in 1565. Agra Fort is a part of the Culture and Heritage Association of India. Seven people ruled the area in this fort before the British invaded. There are nearly 500 buildings with architecture from the old times. There were many more, but Shahjahan demolished them to build the Taj Mahal. Govardhan Hill, located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is a very famous tourist destination and a very sacred place for Hindus. This place is also known as Mount Govardhana or Giriraj. This hill is 100 feet high from the ground. It is believed that in this place, Lord Krishna and Balarama spent their free time in the gardens, near the pool, and cow shepherds. There is a waterfall where it is believed Krishna and Radha experienced a lot of adventures. There are a few lakes and a Giriraj temple around Govardhan Hill. It is believed that the rock of Govardhan Hill is Lord Krishna himself, which has also been mentioned in Bhagawat Geeta. It takes nearly 2-3 hours to explore the surroundings of the lake.

Vishram Ghat, located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River. It is believed that after Krishna killed Kamsa, he came to this place to rest, hence its name. Traditionally, this place is meant to perform last rites and cremations. On Bhai Dooj, thousands of people visit this place. A boat ride activity also takes a round around the whole ghat. There are private boats and public boats. People can watch the aarti by sitting on the boats. This place is 4 km away from Mathura Junction. Public boat rides cost Rs. 30 per person. Private boat rides depend on the person running them.

Shri Krishna Janmasthan Temple, located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is a complex where a group of temples are situated. Garbh Griha is one of the temples where Lord Krishna was born, Keshavdev temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna, and Bhagvata Bhavan is committed to Radhakrishna. It is believed that, in a prison, Krishna was born to Devaki and Vasudeva. The prison has now become a temple called Krishna Janmabhoomi. There is a lake called Potra Kund, in which Lord Krishna was first bathed. This temple is very often visited by thousands of tourists throughout the year. During festivals like Krishna Janmashtami, Holi, Diwali, and Radha Janmashtami, this place is very crowded and grandly celebrated.

6. Dwarkadhish Temple

Dwarkadhish temple, located in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, is a historical place where Lord Krishna is worshipped along with Radharani. The Pushtimarg tradition is followed in the temple. A festival of 13 days between July – August is celebrated here grandly. The temple is decorated beautifully with various flowers and colorful clothes. A swing is brought in and decorated with silver and gold to make Radhakrishna sit on it. On the walls of the temple, beautiful paintings and sculptures of the life of Lord Krishna are depicted. Seth Gokul Das Parikh built this temple in 1814. This temple is located near the ghats of the river Yamuna. The architectural style of this temple is Gujarati and Rajasthani styles.
