Bali is an impeccable destination which can be visted all round the year. We visited Bali in March and our honeymoon turned out to be amazing. Sunny clear skies, pleasant weather and rain, these words totaly define our vacation in Bali.

Bali, known as the island of Gods, has unique and ancient temples, the intrinsic culture of Bali will leave a deep memory rooted in your minds. Experience the temples, beaches and paradisiacal sunsets of Bali in March at these places.
1. Tanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot is a Balinese Hindu Temple built on an outcrop, an artificial rock. The seawater encircles it when the tide rises. It seems to be adrift in the ocean and owns the magnificent view of the sunset in the late afternoon. There are several points to see in this temple, all with an amazing view.
2. Uluwatu Temple
Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of six key temples believed to be Bali’s spiritual pillars, is renowned for its magnificent location, perched on top of a steep cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level. This temple also shares the splendid sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple, another important sea temple located in the island’s western shores.

3. Kuta Beach
Kuta beach one of the most enjoyable places to visit and enjoy all the things to do in Bali in March. It is known for the dining spots, Kuta Beach Walking Street and nightlife here. You can go for shopping at the main footpaths of Kuta’s Jalan Pantai.

1. Kecak Dance
Kecak, known in Indonesian as tari kecak, is a form of Balinese hindu dance and music drama that was developed in the 1930s in Bali, Indonesia. The Kecak is a classical monkey chant dance that is performed by talented and skilled dancers coming from Desa Pekraman Taman Kaja. This classical dance is a show of fire and trance that is performed regularly at the temple every Wednesday and Saturday.

2. Bali Jungle Safari
Bali Safari & Marine Park offers a fun day out, and serves as one of the island’s largest and most visited animal theme parks which opened its gates in 2007. It is home to over 60 species, all of which roam free in large enclosures that mimic their natural habitats. Enjoy riding on a safari bus to visit the animals, watching fascinating elephant talent shows, get cuddly with baby orangutans, and view baby sharks at the aquarium.
3. Cruise By Sea Safari
There’s no better way to spend a balmy tropical evening than on a beautiful evening Dinner Cruise. As the sun goes down you set off on a relaxing cruise around the harbour. Take in the cool night air on the top deck, be entertained by live musical entertainers at the bridge deck, savour a delicious international buffet dinner, then dance the night away at the disco or enjoy our live cabaret onboard.
Do’s & Don’ts In Bali In March
- Take a walk on the beautiful beach.
- If you are looking for indian food then there are some good restaurants.(Although I don’t remember all the names, some of them were – Queens at Kuta, Melati Café at Jimbaran).
- Don’t rush and plan too many things for your trip. Every spot is amazing, plan a few and enjoy them to the fullest.
- Don’t ruin the beautiful beaches by littering.
What To Pack?
If you are wondering what should you pack for Bali in March, then I would like to give you some tips. Carry cotton trousers, t-shirts like we did so that you can enjoy the weather to the fullest. You can wear dresses and shorts but while visting the temples, wear decent clothes and remember to pack them. Carry basic things like sunscreen, sunglasses, umbrella and mosquito repellent.
How To Reach Bali
Bali is located quite near India and a 9 hours flight is all it takes to reach Bali from India. You can easily book your flight from India and get down at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali.
