2. The Archaeological Civic Museum
In September 1881, two museums were merged which led to the formation of the Archaeological Civic Museum in Bologna. One of these museums belonged to the University of Bologna and the other one to the City of Bologna. An abode to 200,000 masterpieces of great artists.
