Every year, there’s a different theme and 2018 saw something completely different, any guesses? The haunted house was inspired by Netflix’s popular show, Stranger Things; this was the star attraction. Besides, there were nine haunted houses as well. This event went on for thirty-four nights, so you know there’s ample time to go here or even make multiple visits! There’s no way you can miss this one.

    This one is open all year round and we are so glad about it! The organisation does not really believe in creating a Halloween-like atmosphere, since they say real spirits lurk around this place! Visitors have seen shadows and experienced paranormal activities as well during the tours offered by the company. It’s a spine-tingling experience and the most popular tours are ‘Spirits with Spirits’, a haunted pub tour and ‘Dining with the Departed’, which is about having a meal in a haunted restaurant. If you are looking for the real deal this Halloween, this is it!

    This is the country’s largest horror convention, which is held at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Centre. Every year, there’s a great line-up of celebrity guests and 2018 saw David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson of the X-Files as well as Kathy Najimy of Disney’s Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. If this wasn’t enough, there were also tattoo festivals, costume contests, zombie walks and film festivals.

    Enzian Theatre, one of Orlando’s popular movie houses, is located only about 20 minutes from the downtown area. Through October, the theatre plays thirteen spooky films, which are mostly horror classics. Each flick also has a themed drink to go with it; that sounds like a whole lot of fun! If you are looking for some fun for kids, there’s also a separate Halloween party organised for them. Note that separate admission is required for all 13 films.
